When I mentioned it to the host she explained that she should put a note in the bathroom explaining how turn it on, as it was tricky. We tried everything and nothing worked. My family likes home cooking healthy meals rather than eating out, and there was surprisingly plenty of pots, pans, juicer, knives, serving bowls, and even some spices in the cupboard. All directions and house rules are clearly posted and easy to follow - like keeping sand out of the house, keep food out of the bedrooms, etc. It stays clean because it is kept clean! Laundry was right in the main area and easy to use. The other neat thing is that the street it is on is very quiet, the neighbors were friendly, and there was a great breakfast restaurant on one corner and ice cream on the other - we walked up there every night! It is also within walking distance of MANY restaurants. The beach is truly steps away, and since it is residential, it is quiet and not overpopulated.
