The horizon view of the ocean can be seen at the top of the sand dunes. Mirrored walls in the living room give a spacious feel while you are watching the large flat screen TV from the queen sleeper sofa. As of May 2021, the kitchenette was remodeled and only a few of the pictures reflect the updated kitchen and new laminate flooring throughout. The kitchenette has the two burner flat top built into the counter, over the range microwave and a new refrigerator. The bathroom has a medicine cabinet and older tub. The private bedroom with the queen bed has plenty of drawer space should you decide to stay a while. Ceiling fans in the bedroom can keep the breeze cool, while the decorations keep things tropical. This condo is a great find if your looking for an affordable way to stay at the beach. NO PETS ALLOWED. The property was cute, clean and looked just like the photos. There was lots of stuff provided too (dish soap, paper towels, etc). Great place to stay right on the beach, and within walking distance to a few places. Not too far from downtown either (20 min drive). Only a couple of notes: The bedroom door did not close all the way/ wouldn't stay closed. It is also listed to sleep 4, but I would definitely say it better sleeps 2 because of the glass top table next to the pullout couch. Overall, a great experience! ##### J B. However, there were a couple of things I would modify about our room. I am a HUGE coffee person and the coffee maker in this room is just not adequate. I don’t mind how small it is because the size was perfect for one person but I usually bring my own coffee and filters (I’m picky) and it would not make using regular filters. The second thing is the lights in the bathroom. They are no where near bright enough. Even my 14 yr old daughter said they made her eyes hurt. Now every time we visit family in St. Augustine we always go stay ocean front at beachers lodge for a few days. While it isn’t your most luxurious place, it is clean, comfortable, and convenient. This month we took our 2 year old twins and stayed for the first time... as loud as they are, no one even complained. There are many food places nearby and delivery. The beach down this far isn’t as crowded. Beachers Lodge always has a good price and is always worth it. The only thing that would have made our stay a little easier was if the boardwalk had a ramp on the beach end. Stairs are fine normally, but after loading up a wagon with twin toddlers, toys, towels, and carrying chairs and coolers, that was a bummer.
