  • Your up north getaway starts here! Cozy 2 bedroom / 1 bath cottage on the south side of Hubbard Lake. Knotty pine throughout - gives a nice up-north rustic vibe! Full kitchen, spacious living room, queen bed in one room, full bed in 2nd.
    Private, wooded setting with abundant wildlife! Perfect for year-round fun! Only a short walk down the hill to the lake.
    Enjoy all the area has to offer - swimming, boating, fishing (driveway provides room for boat/trailer) and golf in the summer; hunting and color tours in fall; snow mobiling/ice fishing in winter. DNR boat launch within 1 mile of cottage. White Pine Golf Course, and area restaurants within 1-2 miles. Gas, grocery and convenience stores within 10 miles, and Alpena is only a 1/2 hour away. This place is a perfect get away for the family and a fun return to hubbard lake after 5 years. The property manager is extremely friendly and attentive, house is extremely clean and organized, overall good place to stay to explore hubbard lake and/or to just relax. Will probably book again on our next visit to the area.

Cute Cabin and Excellent Location!!

This cabin is cozy and cute. Big enough for a family of 3 or 4, and super comfortable. It is in a great location, with access to driving around to see many different things. The area and neighborhood are quiet and peaceful. The woods behind and around the cabin are nice, you are not closely located to anyone else.

Perfect Place for a Quiet Getaway!

Welcoming, homey cabin with everything we needed and more. Tidy property with a nice picnic table and deck, fire ring, and firewood. The kitchen was well appointed, and the bathroom was clean. Every window had blinds, and they all worked! A few references were on hand to provide us with ideas for day trips and good meals. No overbearing rulebooks, and the WiFi password was in plain sight. There are curtains, not doors, providing privacy in the bedrooms. This was not a problem for us and added to the charm. We hope to visit again soon!

Perfect for us!

Communication with Deb was excellent, easy check in, everything was as listed and perfect for us. We saw the twin fawns in the front yard one evening and then another deer a while later. Location worked well for us. Hope to stay again when we are in the area.

The cabin was lovely. Deb is an amazing hostess. The cabin had everything from cooking pans to shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. There is a large mowed lawn, lawn chairs, fire ring and wood to burn. We loved this cabin .
