Beautiful, relaxing spot on the water
If I could, I would give this property and our hosts Maria and Larry 10 ⭐️’s! The property is as it looks on line, or maybe better. Decorated beautifully with comfortable beds, sitting area, and outdoor seating. The cottage is stocked with all the essentials. My husband and I have stayed at other VRBO’s and rentals in the US, Caribbean, and Canada and this property was one of the most comfortable, beautifully updated and decorated…. And Spotless!! We enjoyed just relaxing on deck overlooking the water and also its proximity to Rockland with its restaurants, shopping and museums, and Port Clyde for the ferry to Monhegan Island. We also ate dinner at the Causeway restaurant, just about 10 min. From the cottage. The restaurant is located in the historical Craignair Inn on the water. The food was amazing. The hosts Maria and Larry were wonderful and very accessible to whatever we needed. We got lobsters from Larry during our stay which he delivered to our deck. Doesn’t get much easier than that! All in all it was a Wonderful stay at the cottage on the water in Spruce head! We will be back!

Exceptional Cottage by the Sea
.My husband and I travel rather extensively - always staying in rented condos or houses and without a doubt, this property is on of the cleanest and most comfortable vacation rental we’ve ever visited. Everything in the cottage is top quality - sheets, towels, comforters, throw blankets…..the drawers in the kitchen are full of everything one would need - and neatly arranged. The king bed is incredibly comfortable with a gorgeous view of the bay - right from the bedside. The wrap around porch and outdoor furniture is comfy and the flowers all over the patio are stunning. We saw a beautiful Osprey in a nearby tree our first day and enjoyed watching the fishing boats coming and going. Larry and Maria are gracious and extremely attentive hosts and we highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to vacation by the sea.

Property was absolutely fantastic. Maria and Larry are super people. Very helpful and engaging. Larry being a lobsterman also had freshly caught lobster to purchase. A very enjoyable vacation with quite a view. We would definitely like to stay again. Thanx Maria and Larry for your hospitality!

Perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was a perfect home base for exploring the area and we loved coming back to the view from the deck! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we had a tasty dinner of lobster that we got from the gracious hosts who own the wharf at the end of the road! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect escape on the coast of maine
This home is a recently recently renovated coastal escape away from crowds. It’s quiet and peaceful with an amazing deck, super comfortable beds, a great bathroom and shower, a perfect kitchen with all the amenities you need for a a great stay. It’s five minutes from Clark Island preserve where you’ll find beach access and hiking. It’s 3 minutes from waterman’s beach brewery for an excellent beer and view. And Port Clyde is 15 minutes away where you can sit on the docks and enjoy seafood. This place is a hidden gem.

Very cute, clean cabin.
So cute, so clean. An actual fairly comfortable bed. It is just off a working wharf where they bring in lobsters. We didn’t hear a thing. If they didn’t tell us the guys come in at 4 am, we wouldn’t have known it. Owners offered fresh lobsters at a great price, which we took advantage of. Just wow! Quiet and peaceful, with a great view.

Bright & Cheerful with Bay view
It was like being in a different world. My favorite place inside was in a comfy chair by the bay window. Deck has plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view. One neighbor is a lobsterman another an oyster farmer, gas grill & outdoor gas lobster pot. House is fully equipped Really comfortable bed.
