We stayed at the Red Roof Inn + for one night. It is very close to Six Flags New England. It was clean and comfortable. Must get donuts at the Donut Dip across the street.

Very simple motel-style rooms, but it was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the location was convenient for visiting local attractions. Also can’t beat being across the street from an excellent donut shop! Plenty of nearby restaurant options, but plan on driving — the area isn’t super walkable, nearby sidewalks and crossing signals are under construction.

The motel is directly behind Five Guys Burgers, so you don't see it from the road. The front desk clerk was wonderful. There was a moisture issue causing a slight musty odor in the room. I turned off the ac unit because I saw black spots on the vent. There was an attempt at updating the "premium" room but it fell into the putting lipstick on a pig category. I appreciated the parking right in front of our room door because our truck was loaded with dorm necessities. The property was up the road from a mall and lots of stores where we were able to spend time outside of the room getting last minute items and groceries for her from fridge. We needed an inexpensive place for a brief one night rest and left very early to move my daughter into college. This place was okay for that but not for more than one night, a vacation or work trip.

First, I would like to compliment the front desk staff on their professionalism, and comment that the grounds were nice looking and it was quiet at night. However, the first room we were given reeked so heavily of smoke that we had to request another room. Unfortunately that room was not much better. They were both labeled as "nonsmoking". The sink drain was clogged so water would build up in the sink. The room was freezing cold and when we turned down the AC everything became damp with humidity. We were unable to use the TV - Netflix. We tried to spend as little time as possible in the room. It was also obvious that there are many people that "live" at this motel full time, as we saw a school bus dropping off kids at one of the rooms.

Great staff greeting, room heated well on the coldest weekend in over a decade. Major rust area in bathroom tub, vanity light burned out, and fire detector was buzzing loudly. Detector removed by maintenance promptly by request, but not replaced during visit.
