"When we first arrived, the desk agent was yelling at someone else for parking by the office while the parking lot was being painted.
We waited our turn (nearly 1/2 and hour behind 2 others, ) and got checked in. We went up to the first room and I nearly passed out from the STRONG cigarette smoke smell! I started having an asthma attack, and immediately returned to the office to see about a different room.
I had to wait another 10-15 minutes behind someone else to get help. She reluctantly moved us, and we unpacked in a different room that didn't reek of cigarette smoke. However, the beds were rock hard, the phone in the room had no service, the bathroom light worked less than 50% of the time after being off, and there were holes in the walls. The dresser drawers wouldn't stay closed for long, and the refrigerator kept things SUPER icy!
There were only 2 sets of towels for 3 adults, no coffee or tea options, and the bar soap had a funny smell. The rooms are barely big enough to walk around in.
The few pluses include cable TV, (though the TV was rather small for a room that size, ) working microwave and fridge, softer water from the shower, the nicer comforter and sheets, and the seat in the walk in shower.
We reported the bathroom light problem to the office staff but nothing happened to fix the issue during our stay and the on site manager hid in her back office 90% of the time we spent in the office.
I hurt 1 of my hips in the bed the 1st night, and run out of room"
