"Fantastic property, really quaint and well presented. The loft space is very unique. Location is lovely, cut off and right on the coast. Property has that unique quality of being able to feel “homely” and lived in. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Warm and cosy. Fire will take a bit of coaxing until it’s up to temperature, but starter wood and kindling was provided. One warning - the step leaving the property is very hazardous in the dark, especially in poor weather - I tripped on it (37yo male) and suspect fractured both arms / wrists. Getting past the bins and having to dip down into the archway is the problem so please be careful. Recommend it needs a nightlight in that alleyway, or the step tapering down into a ramp, as it’s very shallow but enough to trip on."

"Located in a very peaceful area of Cumbria, just north of the Lake District. Lots to explore, well off the beaten track and away from the melee of 'The Lakes'. The cottage was very comfortable, a little quaint and old-fashioned with no wi-fi, but good mobile reception. Overall, very happy with the cottage and the holiday."

"Seascape cottage exceeded all my expectations. It was warm and welcoming on arrival. There was a lovely welcome pack which got things off to a great start. Everything was explained clearly leaving nothing to ambiguity which was lovely. I loved the character and the little touches and, as I was there for the beach and the birds, it was perfectly placed. I had a really lovely experience and would both recommend the cottage and will book again. Thank you."

"Disappointed that towels (or tea-towels) were not provided - even though I rang before travelling to confirm that they would be provided - the property advert should give a full list of amenities provided (or not) so guests know what to bring with them / Only 4 mugs available for 6 guests ?!? / Beds a bit uncomfortable/small/narrow for a 6'2" bloke (springs rather than mattress) - expected more for 'Gold' standard accommodation (but I'm not a regular camper) / Not enough pillows / No taxi service available on Saturday evening - guests will need to book in advance / No shop on site for forgotten essentials / Nice pub/restaurant on site / Quiet and friendly site / Nice pub (Ship Hotel) in Allonby but need to walk along sea-front (stony beach) to get there (no safe road/path available) / Confusing who the booking was with and who to contact with a query - Expedia/Hoseasons/Lyons Manor House/Vrbo ?? / The Hoseasons 'My Account' that was offered didn't have the booking details."
