Pros: Loved the location and cozy beds
Cons: I wish there was a self serve coffee station in the lobby in the mornings.
Location: We enjoyed happy hour at the Peacock across the street. Then dinner at Steelhead which was a close walk. Both excellent!

We stayed here while because we were traveling through but got too tired. The price was great so we booked it on our way and we were very impressed! It's so cool and has a lot of charm.

Nice hotel in heart of downtown

Posted 06-Sep-2016
This hotel was a nice place to stay for Spokane. There is a lot of road work being done in the surrounding blocks and it is difficult to navigate by car right now. The hotel itself was clean, pretty and does well for the old building that it is in. Our few complaints mostly involved how warm the hotel room was despite turning the thermostat all the down. The Windows don't open and there is no AC, which could be pretty miserable if we were there in the heat of summer. Also, there was no bathroom fan to turn on/off, and it made the room feel rather muggy after using the shower. The hotel did not have any continental breakfast as we thought, but there are plenty of decent restaurants in Spokane to eat at. The staff was very helpful when we arrived, taking our bicycles to a free storage locker at the hotel across the street, and informing us street parking was much cheaper than the garage, which is $17 a night. Overall, I'm not sure that we would stay here again, but we had a decent time.

Right in the heart of Spokane. Lots of things to do with in walking distance and the food in the area is great. Staff at this hotel goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay.

Very nice hotel

I really enjoyed staying here. I do wish however that the parking had been included in the cost. Even if it means the room was a bit more makes it much more convent at check in. The only other parking option would have been quite a walk through current construction. Besides that the hotel was beautiful and comfortable. I love that they have L'occtaine products in the rooms. Also room service and spa options were nice. Very very pleasant stay.

Nice bed. Few kids. Close to great food outlets. The building is a old but maintained well and the staff was helpful. Valet charge was a bit much though.

Davenport Name, But Not All the Services

Posted 18-Jul-2016 on Hotels
We love this hotel. Old school feel but nicely redone and updated in an Italian/Mediterranean vibe. Pub type restaurant attached with good service and a pretty lively atmosphere. Only concern with our stay is that most (all?) of the peripheral amenities are handled through the main Davenport Hotel across the street. As a result, we felt like we got put in the back of the queue as far as some service requests. For the Lusso to stay competitive, it needs to have its own dedicated service provisions. We needed a shuttle, but after a couple different inquiries, were told that a reservation would have to be made and that none were available. All earlier inquiries gave the impression that there would be a shuttle at the ready for guests, the only limitation being mileage, which is totally understandable. Once on site, we found out that the shuttle service was not handled directly by the Lusso but by the main hotel, and again, that it was not available to us on the night it was needed. Fortunately, cab service, while unexpected, was not that expensive.
