Beautiful place, convenient location

Nicely renovated and appointed older building. Our room was large, and so was the bathroom. A little street noise, but downtown Spokane is pretty quiet.

Very nice room, great for our business stay! Didn't need to spend much time in our room, but it was very comfortable - especially the bed, wow! We would definitely stay again!!

Quaint and clean!

My wife and I love staying here! It's romantic and quiet yet close to downtown evening activities. High ceilings in this older renovated building make it unique with an elegant touch. This is a hotel with great character!

Small hotel, large room

Posted 20-Feb-2017
A great hotel with two issues: An old building with little to no insulation from noise. Heard every footstep from the upstairs, voices resonating in the hallway and music from the restaurant/bar below. Also, there was no information about valet parking being $22/night. Not posted on any signage, not mentioned at check in. Most places post it clearly or there is no charge and tips are expected. If it was $10 I would have been okay with it.... but $22 in Spokane is outrageous!!!! When I mentioned it to the clerk at checkout, he said it was on the sign at the front of the hotel.... I checked again....it wasn't. Otherwise, nice hotel.

Chose here because we've been told about the amazing showers, booked the room called to make sure, was told "every room has a walk in marble shower" that is not what we got.. disapointed there. One of the lights in the bathroom didn't work, it would just flicker, I tried all the lamp plugs and none of them worked. The room made me very stuffy. Could hear people all around stomping and yelling. Would way rather stay at the Baymont Inn for half the price. Davenport was a dissapointment, however the staff was. Ice

Great hotel!

Location: Visit Kandee at Patit Creek Cellars which is just a couple doors down. She was great and so was the wine!
We only stayed one night, but enjoyed it very much. Front desk was super nice and helpful. Check-in was easy and quick. We had a corner room with lots of big windows. Big bathroom. Very close to shopping, wine tasting, great food. I would definitely stay here again.

Majestic old hotel

Posted 01-Feb-2017 on Hotels
Excellent service, all that you'd expect from a Davenport property, but on a more intimate scale than the big hotel down the street. Beds are so comfortable. Tall floor to ceiling windows, with dark curtains as needed. Very large, spacious room. Good wi fi. My only complaint is that the room was too warm at night, even with the heat off. They will come and turn a breaker to really make it cool, but I didn't know that until the next morning.

Love the feel of the hotel. The people working there make you feel good. Food choices right around the hotel are great.
