The suites are located inside the Diocletian's Palace, right above the underground cellars. You can't stay at a better location than that. Another highlight is the excellent breakfast served at the hotel next door. Great value for money overall. Would have been 5 out of 5 if not for the 3 mosquitoes I killed inside the room.

Staying in Old Split is a must and this hotel was perfect. Small, clean with an attentive and helpful Staff. They arranged a car from the Split airport which was a great way to start a trip in a brand new city.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was tricky to find but also part of the experience. The staff isn’t there all the time as it is a small hotel but they are available by whats app and they recommended restaurants etc. You can’t beat the location.

The accommodation is brilliantly located within the palace walls but tucked away from the tourist walking groups. The rooms are well designed and of a good spec. The staff were very helpful and friendly and helped with luggage etc and were particularly helpful in organising our taxi to the airport. Thanks!

Valentino was fantastic. He picked us up at the airport and delivered us directly to our room. It is a small boutique hotel so understand it is more like a B&B but exactly what we were looking for. Many stairs but Valentino was so helpful with our luggage both in and out. Highly recommend!

Great boutique hotel and stellar service

The hotel and staff were very helpful. If you have any questions or need assistance, the staff communicates with you via WhatsApp with quick responses. We were especially grateful for one of the staff members who stayed up late (11:45pm) to personally provide us with a airport transfer and check in when our flight was very delayed from London to Split.

Great apartment in historic Split

Had a great time and very much enjoyed Mijama suites. Location inside old town was great, and the apartment has been very nicely remodeled. One item to be aware of is that like other typical historic buildings, there are no elevators so if you have top apartment, it is over 60 steps to the top. :)

property was within the palace walls and very scenic. Split gets quite crowded which I do not like. Overall I would say Croatia lacks a friendly vibe.

We had a fantastic stay. From first stepping into our apartment, we knew we would be well taken care of. There was plenty of space, a large rain shower, a balcony, internet and satellite TV – all the amenities we could want. There was a bowl of fresh fruit and they provided us with coffee and a coffeemaker. The suite was cleaned every day, including new bedding. The staff were friendly and the gentleman at the front desk was supremely helpful with anything we asked of him. My next time in Split, I would happily stay at Mijama again.

The location is perfect

The location is fantastic. No enough hot water for shower. The TV wasn’t working. The room is clean enough. Shame about hot water , i had to finish with cold water. I did not turn off the switch which I was told not to turn off for hot water. There was a leak so bathroom floor was soaking wet after one person having shower.

This place was right in the heart of all the action. There is usually no front desk person on site, so once you are in the suite you are on your own outside of texting or calling the main point of contact. That never presented any problems for us. The room was spacious, clean and easy walk to everything in Old Town split -- and a bargain for what we got! I would stay here again for sure.
