Easy walk from Riva & ferry port. There was a little bit of noise from activities below in the public area but not enough to disturb sleeping. Breakfast was lovely - a plated selection in a beautiful setting. Friendly staff & mgmt. Excellent recommended airport transfer person as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only difficulty was no elevator and our friends that we were traveling with were in their 80's. Their room required 3 flights of stairs. The hotel is inside the walls of the palace built in 305AD. Superb location near the main square of the palace. Our room had a wonderful view of the cathedral tower. We had good breakfasts and enjoyed evening meals there far more than in some of the highly rated restaurants in the area.
