The apartment was nice, well kept and clean. The ammenities provided were excellent and the pool was also a great addition to the property. The hosts were easily contacted and very welcoming. They provided me with a detailed description of the city, sites and beaches to visit. Property is in a great location in terms of its proximity to the beach (<10 min walk), to nearby shops, the bus station and the old town (5-10 min Uber ride). Had a great experience during my stay will be returning next time I am in Split.

Home stay
Sandra the host is very welcoming, she's on site and introduced us the area, map and bus route when check-in. We stayed in one of the three rooms on the first floor, you can hear some noise from the other guests when people are in and out. During our 2-nite stay was quiet. The room is basic and very clean. Everything in the room works well, there's a fridge, cups, kettle and hair dryer. Towels are provided. A small pool is available for use, it wasn't busy during our time. 5-min drive or 20-min walk to the nearest Znjan Beach. 20-min Uber to Split town centre.

Firstly, this apartment was a little out of the way (but within an easy reach of the city centre) which meant it was quiet. I loved the little back garden and pool, surrounded by various fruit trees- it felt like a little oasis! Sandra was an excellent hostess, responding to all of my queries with so many helpful and detailed suggestions, she brought us on a little tour of the area and gave us suggested brochures and a map. She even gave us a little gift to take with us. A genuine and sweet lady, she made the stay feel all the more personal. Id prefer this to an impersonal and cookie cutter hotel any day of the week!

Sandra is an incredible host. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She allowed us to check in early and gave great advice about where to visit and eat. She brought us fresh fruit, some from her incredible garden and made our stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend. Uber to town is 30 Kuna.

First class service from owner. Nothing too much trouble. Apartment has everything you could want and all extras provided eg washing up liquid, drinks in fridge, suncream. Immaculate. Organised and efficient. Beach 10mins walk away. supermarket 5min walk or Lidl 15 mins. Nice clean pool with towels.

We had an amazing time here. The host couldn’t have been any better, she was super friendly and extremely helpful. It was my birthday while staying here, and because the host had scanned my passport she knew this and given bought me a necklace and a bottle of wine!! Best host and accommodation by far. If I come back to split again, I will Be rebooking this apartment.

The apartment was perfect! It was extremely clean with every amenity you could require (including various teas and coffee, pool and beach towels and all basic kitchen items). The pool was lovely and it felt like our own private pool as we never saw anyone else there. The location was great and only a 10 minute bus ride (with very regular buses) to the Old City. The best bit was definitely the owner Sandra - she was extremely welcoming and did everything to make our trip perfect including; loads of information about what to do and how to get around, very quick at responding to any issues or any new housekeeping items and we particularly liked the home baked goods :) nothing was an issue for her and she was always extremely friendly and chatty. We will definitely be returning to Split and staying in this property again

The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and two large balconies. The house is located in a quiet residential area within walking distance of the beach and a short bus or taxi ride from the bustling old town. Convenient, spotlessly clean with great host
Had a great week here. Sandra, the property manager is extremely organised and is a kind and extraordinarily generous host. She provides comprehensive information and really helpful insights to help you get the most out of your stay. The apartments are spotlessly clean and have everything you need, Sandra has provided everything you could think off and if anything is missing she will get it for you. It is a little way out of the old town but the buses are very regular, cheap and the bus stops are only a 2 minute walk from the apartments. We bought a book of tickets and used the buses every day, usually twice a day. The pool is small but perfectly adequate for a refreshing dip and the sun beds are comfortable. There is an extensive local beach with a number of cafes, public toilets and storage facilities downhill from the property. There are local restaurants but we only ate at one (the Dalmatia? - very good) because it was so easy to get into and back from town. We cannot praise Sandra and her family highly enough and thank them without reservation.

Perfect stay in Cordis Apartments Split
Just returned from 10 great days at Cordis Apartments in Split. Very clean all areas, pool and gardens a little haven, rooms have everything you need. We were made very welcome on arrival. Sandra and her family are perfect hosts very kind and helpful nothing is a bother. We were well advised on local area. places of interest and bus routes, only 10 minutes on bus into Split. We would highly recommend staying at these apartments and will definitely return soon.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, cozy and fully equipped with everything you need: condiments, soaps, even has small clothes washer. Conveniently located for groceries, transportation and short walk to nice beach. But best of all is host Sandra so hospitable even bringing us welcome drinks and parting gift. We did a full day trip, speedboat excursion to Blue Cave & other islands, just beautiful and speedboat was a lot of bumpy fun but not for the faint at heart or anyone with back issues. We loved it!

Superb welcome by the host Sandra. Nothing was too much trouble. She explained everything we needed to know. The apartment was lovely and extremely clean and well equipped. Pool looked nice although we did not use it. Easy to access Split Old Town by bus which took about 15 minutes. Sandra also organised our transfer to the airport. During our stay we also took a boat trip to visit Trogir. Would certainly recommend these apartments. I have never had such friendly welcome anywhere

My mother and I stayed here for 6 nights! Sandra and her mum are so kind and lovely! They made our stay very welcoming! They have lots of beautiful fruit trees in the outside eating area and by the pool which is wonderful! We were out and Sandra and her mother even did our laundry and put them out to dry in the sun as we were out all day!! Above and beyond expectations! Sandra helped us with where to go and how to get around! They brought us fruit and juice when we got there and her mama made us delicious pastries on our last day and gave us parting gifts!! Very lovely kind people. So friendly! Nicest people, I can not iterate this enough!! The apartment is clean and has shampoo, conditioner, moisturisers there already which is good if you can only take a small amount of fluid in your luggage. The room has a fridge, there is a kitchenette with stove and sink. There is a toaster maker and a microwave too. Very easy to make breakfast and dinner as the supermarket Tommy’s is very close walk. They have a drinking water dispenser downstairs near to pool which is really convenient to fill bottles to take out in the sun, they have sun screen lotions and towels there for you to use, and also a shower with shower products there too -very useful! The beach is less then 10 min walk! The town centre is 15 min or less bus ride and the bus stops a less than 5 min walk from the apartments. A welcoming introduction to beautiful Croatia
4 of us stayed at Apts Cordis in early June 2018. After phone contact through Expedia, we were met by Jo(zefina) at the airport [10 Euros per person]. She gave us a clear and interesting introduction to Split en route to the apartments. On our arrival we were met by her sister, Sandra, and mother, Ana - all gave us a warm welcome. Sandra was very informative about the area. Ana had made delicious Burek, a Balkan specialty of melted cheese encased in layers of phyllo pastry. This gift was served with a plate of fruit for the vegan, juice - and even a bottle of Karlovacko for the new convert to Croatian beer! We enjoyed the clean and well-appointed apartments - one with a balcony on the 3rd floor and one next to the pool:-) We really appreciated the lovely pool, with extra towels; proximity to a beach, as well as grocery stores; the washing line and clothes pegs; the kitchen with everything we needed - and more. Unfortunately, I did a foolish thing and ruined the cover to an electric plate on the stove. When I told Sandra, she was very forgiving - and even gave me little gifts when we left - lovely mementos of our brief enjoyable stay in Split. Many varieties of fruit trees grow on the property, as well as beautiful vegetables and flowers, and a wide range of aromatic herbs = wonderful use of small spaces. Apts Cordis is a very well-organized family business, with two daughters following legal professions. Thank you for a great introduction to a beautiful country.

Great view close to beach, shopping, & restaurants
Host family rents out 6 separate apartment unites, on the top 2 floors, and lives in the lower 2 middle floors. The bottom floor is where their office is, and opens out to the pool. They greeted us with drinks and a nice small snack. They then explained how the: stove, windows, etc., and even a small washing machine in the bathroom, worked. Everything was clean and very functional. The larger bed even had memory foam for its mattress. The next day they explained where different things in Split were, and our options on how to get to them. One grocery store was only a block away, and 3 more were within 5 blocks away. The bus stop was only a block away, and then only 7 bus stops away from the Split City Center. The beach was about 6 blocks away, down the hill. The hosts even made diner for us on our last of the 5 nights that we stayed. The hosts also, for the cost of a cab drive; brought us to the airport, 30 minutes away by car, before 7 AM, on our last day. We travel allot around the world, and these were our best rental hosts, ever. We will try to return soon, because they made us feel as part of their family. The pool was also very nice and extremely clean. The sea was also clean, but its shore was pebbly, without much available shade.

Short walk to a bus stop which takes you into town where there are some stunning resteraunts, sights etc. Lovely Harbour - Trips to the islands reccomended. Local bars, coffe shops etc.. . We found everyone to be so friendly and helpful. It was sad to say good bye to Anna and Sandra who thoroughly spoilt us.Highly reccomended. We booked a car via Expedia to meet us at the airport which never turned up. I suggest getting a cab when you arrive there. Cabbies are very helpful.

Since the moment we arrived Sandra and her family made us feel at home, they explained us all the details of the room and everything about the city, they even accompanied us to the bus stop, they welcomed us with a delicious Croatian cake delicacy. First of all, I want to thank Sandra and her family for making our stay in Croatia extra memorable. My partner (now fiance) and I stayed from the 1st - 8th August, and we cannot recommend staying here enough. When we arrived, we received a very warm welcome where we were shown around and offered some home made borek and a drink as well as lovely fresh fruit. Whenever we were at the pool, Sandra would offer to help in any way she could, and helped organise a couple of excursions for us. The apartment was spotless with a balcony, and the self catering facilities were perfect. Even when I had a moment with the washing machine, Sandra and her mama were there to help. Honestly couldn't recommend staying here enough. A truly warm, welcoming family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. the family greeted us on arrival and provided lots of local information including recommended restaurants, public transport, local ferries etc. They made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much to ask them. We stayed for 10 days & had an amazing time.
As per other reviews the absolute stand out selling point was Sandra & her family. They really can not do enough for you & are so warm, kind & helpful. We had contacted the family via their email address beforehand to ask for airport pickup (cheaper than a taxi) & then just rang when we landed & got picked up a few minutes later. As our flight arrived early in the morning the room was not ready but Sandra kept our bags & pointed us in the right direction to go & explore. When we came back we had a sit down with Sandra in the beautiful garden, with drinks & fruit & she went through so much useful information. We had done some research about what we wanted to do during our time in Split but that was nothing compared to what Sandra told us, from buses to restaurants to places to visits, really useful local knowledge. The bus to Split leaves from just up the road, it costs 11 kunas each way (9 kunas if you get your ticket from a booth rather than the driver), ask for the Center when you get on & it takes 10 minutes. We went in to Split several times for trips & to look around but enjoyed being based outside of Split where it was more quiet (& cheaper). Several mornings & evenings we sat by the poolside & had the pool to ourselves, it was fantastic & so peaceful. Our time at Hotel Cordis was like no other we have experienced, you really are made to feel so much more than just a guest. It was a pleasure to stay here, we will definitely visit again.

Josefina, Sandra and their mother were wonderful hosts. They were very warm and welcoming, greeting us with coffee and delicious homemade pastries when we arrived. They also gave us a lovely bottle of Croatian wine, pastries, coffee, and plums from the garden when we departed. They were extremely helpful answering any questions we had and booking us on a tour of the Krka Falls. The bus into old town Split was 11 Kuna p.p., but the Uber was only 28 Kuna. This hotel is about 10-15 minute drive. The beach was an easy 10-15 minute walk. I would definitely recommend Apartment Cordis, especially for those who don't want the noise of Split.

I spent five nights at Apartments Cordis with my nine-year-old daughter and could not have been happier. The room was perfect for our needs, with a small kitchenette (two-ring hob, fridge, sink and kettle), comfortable bed, well-equipped bathroom and super-efficient air conditioning. However it was the little touches that really set the room apart - things like teabags, coffee and sugar in the cupboard, plus toiletries in the bathroom that we could use if we needed to, all for no extra charge. Outside there was a lovely pool and sunbeds, with fresh towels every day and lots of sun cream that guests could help themselves to. The garden also had comfy shaded seating and tables where you could eat, drink or just chat. The really special thing about this place, however, is the family who run it. From the moment we arrived – tired and hungry at after 10 at night – to the moment we left, they could not have been more friendly, welcoming and kind. Nothing was too much trouble, from preparing snacks and drinks (again for no charge) to giving advice and directions. We really were made to feel like members of the family by Mama, Sandra and Josepa. I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere so welcoming and would strongly recommend Apartments Cordis to anyone staying in Split - we would definitely come again. As my daughter wrote in the card she gave them when we checked out: "Thank you for being so lovely and kind."

Arrived in split and were collected by the apartments driver. Once arrived we were warmly welcomed by Sandra who told us about the area, excursions and bus service while having a coffee with home made cake and fruit. The apartment room we had was very clean and comfortable with ice cold air conditioning, tv and power shower. The whole family were very friendly and kind, i would love to stay again.

Our husband and I were on our honeymoon, and after a not so great stay in Budva we decided to last minute book at Apartments Cordis and what a great decision it was. We were only there 3 days but we had such a wonderful time. We were greeted by Sandra when we arrived who was very helpful, explained everything we needed to know and how we could get around, and was always there if we needed anything. We stayed in an apartment with a large kitchen which was very comfortable, great wifi service, air conditioning, everything was clean, and pool was also very nice. Close walk to the beach and a quick bus ride into the old town. It was such a pleasure staying there and I would definitely recommend it.

On arrival we were concerned that we may not have a room because Sandra told us that an employee had double booked our chosen level of accommodation. We were shown into a large apartment and told that it would cost more, when we said we didn’t want to pay any more, Sandra said she would have to check with her mother whether we could have the apartment for the same price. Sandra complained about how long it took to receive monies from booking agencies and said it was better with direct booking. As far as we know this didn’t occur because our room check-in continued and we never heard any more about an increase in the price. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed between 1.00pm and 5.30pm. This information was not contained on Hotels.com and Sandra said they were in the process of updating the booking sites. We would not have booked the property had we known that the pool was closed during the period we most enjoy swimming. The apartment was basic but large. The décor was not to my taste because I do not want my holiday accommodation to look like a home away from home.

Excellent functional hotel
Small apartment hotel located in a residential district a few kilometres out of town. Excellent for a short stopover. Very helpful staff.

Lovely hospitable family, great location
Loved proximity to beach and the lovely pool area.Family very kind and friendly. Only downside was double room has sloped ceiling all down one side which makes usable part of room pretty tiny. Other than that a great stay here would recommend.

Very friendly family
The Sandra was very friendly ,spending a long time telling us all about the things to do in Split and the surrounding area. We were given home made cake and drinks on arrival. It was a fair walk into the old town but was easy to catch the local bus from up the road.

Love this place!
We had a limited time there, but the owner/manager were outstanding in getting us registered and settled despite getting in late. They were very friendly and provided us with wine and home-cooked meal. Also, they set us up with transport to the airport the next morning and provided us with coffee and food in the early morning.

Cordis Apartments are a wonderful family-run establishment. My husband & I were given such a warm welcome and everything possible was done to make our stay enjoyable. The room was comfortable, with air-conditioning,kitchenette, en-suite shower and an outside sitting area by the pool. On our first night we were provided with an evening meal of salad, bread, pasta, zucchini & meat sauce made from ingredients from the garden, all washed down with a delicious home-made red wine. I would highly recommend Cordis Apartments if you're looking for that something extra that cannot be found in a hotel chain.
