It's a short stroll to Diocletian's Palace and the old town. Nearby Marjan hill, the most popular place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city is ideal place for walking jogging or cycling. In the forest along the beach paths you can stop anywhere for a swim. The West Coast is a kind of a seaside continuation of the main promenade Riva paved entirely with white stone from island Brač, hosting luxurious yachts tied to its coastline and with cafes and restaurants along its entire length, it represents popular meeting point for the Split’s citizens and guests. We spent 3 days in Split at this lovely apartment. It is an easy stroll into the old town full of history, great green market, shops and cafes. And walking the other way takes you through the Marjan Park and local beaches. The apartment is quiet (the nearby construction wasn’t an issue) and the views from the balcony exceeded expectations. Parking is tight but manageable and you need to meet up with Desa to get the apartment key but she was very responsive and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay. ##### Doug & Amanda M.
