(No-step entrance) - Wood-stove heated Yoga studio with mats and other yoga equipment - Expansive courtyard with gas grill and firepit for entertaining and playing pickleball, cornhole or other activities - Finger Lakes trail and Danby State Forest for magnificent hiking - Wi-fi mesh network and guest access - Close proximity (20 min) to Cornell, Ithaca College, and other area attractions
The Comfort Road Cabin is designed with relaxation and entertaining in mind. The rich wood interior, a warm fire in the woodburning stove, and quality furnishing sooth the tired traveler. The courtyard surrounded by poplars and pines is the perfect place for friends and family to gather around the firepit or enjoy a barbeque.

The cabin is modeled after traditional European lodges and sits atop a hill on the smooth-graveled Comfort Road. Remote enough to be a true retreat, it is still under 20 minutes away from Downtown Ithaca Commons and shopping. Ithaca College is a short 10-12 minute drive and Cornell is within easy driving distance as well. Ithaca airport is 30 minutes away. Natural attractions are Jennings Pond, Buttermilk Falls, and Robert H Treman State Park with its amazing natural swimming hole and falls. The stretch of Comfort road in front of the chalet is part of the Finger Lakes trail system and leads to a trail head that goes into Danby State Forest.
Note: The cabin is surrounded by nature and as a result "nature" occasionally get inside. This is part of country living. We perform regular maintenance and cleaning to minimize the occurrence.
Rental insurance: We require a security deposit or low cost insurance, which will be added during your transaction. This protects our home and belongings and helps us keep our rates low. If you choose to put down the security deposit, it will be refunded back to your credit card 14 days after your stay completes. The insurance is non-refundable.
