Very clean and well organized with nice touches like an espresso machine in addition to a coffee maker. It’s in close walking distance to a pub and a diner and a grocery and public beach on the lake (for some of these we used the bikes that come with the house just for fun). Perfect house for a long weekend exploring the Speculator area! Very clean and up to date but still feels like an escape. Walking distance from everything in town and countless hikes and things to see within a 10 minute drive.Very comfortable beds, super clean and functional kitchen with everything you could need. Shower, sauna, everything was top notch. If you've stayed at other places in the Adirondacks, you know some places can be a bit worn out but this is a really well kept property. Owners were helpful with initial information and a few questions we had about the town. Digging for a negative, its closer to the street so you hear some light traffic but the listing makes no secret about the location. Was never a problem for us and we felt secluded in the back with the fire pit going and we weren't worried about having our dog free in the back.Absolutely rebooking the next time we're in town! ##### Mark H. It was immaculate and there were ample towels and nice linens. The kitchen was well equipped, however no microwave if that's important to you.
