Bedroom was very clean, which is the important part. Great spot, room was pleasent and surrounding area is beautiful. Parking is convenient with a nearby bus stop. Staff was friendly, responses should be expected in about 24 hours. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room. Saying this the bed was big and so so comfy after walking all day. Their was a small domino stove top, small fridge for the wine and crockery and cup/glasses all was spotless. The showers and toilet are a few steps away and were clean and tidy. \*Just a side note these are not exclusive to the Bothies and general public use these with a small charge. Handy parking and very close to the main road, but it still feels peaceful & remote. There was a minor problem with the stove, but the owner was quick to send out a maintenance person. Facilities are basic but it had everything I needed - if you want room service and a jacuzzi, look elsewhere :-) ##### Robert ### 4/10 Poor #### Verified traveller 17 Jul 2024 Liked: Room comfort, communication Disliked: Cleanliness #### Sadly wouldn’t recommend Unfortunately the facilities were dirty and lacking in toilet roll and hand soap, they were also left opened to the public which was disappointing considering the price you’re paying to stay there. The property itself was ok but again was lacking and had things missing, the main curtain is also a foot short so light streams into the cabin. It was noisy at night with people driving in late and running their engines. People are able to free camp right outside. The cabin was filled with smoke when we got back due to a fire outside and the second night was very busy so no privacy again disappointing considering. We also had people peering in the door and knocking to ask to use the facilities not ideal and our dog didn’t appreciate that at all. Nice location shame about the set up. Could do with chairs for the table inside and the ability to sit outside would have been nice. Further note don’t waste your money on the coffee it was terrible. ##### Verified traveller Stayed 2 nights in Jul 2024 ### 2/10 Terrible #### Annemieke 6 Jun 2024 Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication Booked a cabin for four guests for three nights, as expedia said the maximum was four people and LET US book for four people half a year in advance. Fast forward to this week- we got to the cabin late at night after a long day of traveling only for us to discover that we got a cabin with one double bed for our booking for four people. We called both the property manager and expedia, both repeating this should not have been able to happen and that we will get a refund, but not being able to find any solutions whatsoever. The four of us were stranded in the middle of the night in a foreign country with no place to stay. After looking for hours we finally found a place to stay the three nights we would stay at the cabin, which cost us almost a grand and we lost not only a lot of money but also time, as this place was further away from the things we had planned on visiting. The day after I got an email that a refund was declined. So we lost a lot of money and a lot of time of a trip we had planned out so carefully. It really affected our whole vacation.
