Très calme accueil très chaleureux. Petit bémol le frigo pas de freezer donc pas de glaçons ni glace. Autrement bien au calme .bonne baignoire. Pensez à donner à manger aux poissons. A recommander pour deux personnes qui aiment le calme.

Un joli havre de paix

Yves nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse ; il s'est montré discret mais toujours disponible. Bien que tout petit, le gîte est très fonctionnel (mention spéciale pour la salle de bain ! ) et décoré avec goût. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le coin détente bien ombragé, devant le bassin. Très calme, le hameau se trouve au départ de nombreuses balades à pied ou à vélo. À proximité, village de Calvisson très agréable et baignades en rivière.

Freundlicher Vermieter, leider war die Verständigung wegen geringer Englischkenntnisse seinerseits und ebenso geringer Französischkenntnisse unsererseits erschwert. Das Häuschen war sehr feucht-kalt und roch sehr muffig, weshalb der Geruch selbst bei ausgiebigem Lüften erst nach einer Woche verschwand. Heizung elektrisch, Kaminofen eher Deko und in der Trockensaison sicher nicht benutzbar. Der Standort eignet sich gut für Wanderungen in der näheren Umgebung und im Umkreis von 40-50 km für Fahrten an viele interessante und schöne Orte inklusive Strand.

Belle plurielle découverte !

"L'endroit est magique pour qui veut découvrir, découvrir des lieux, des natures, des cultures, des hommes, .. voire se découvrir ... Une magie de ces si proches Causses et Cévennes, comme de la Camargue, et de ces villes si réjouissantes comme Nîmes, Montpellier, Sète .. chacune ayant ses antiques et vieux quartiers. Une magie des fêtes vouées aux taureaux qui sont (là) protégés, adorés ! Quels ballets parfois, quels rassemblements sociaux, et amicaux toujours ! Superbe endroit ! Ensuite, et surtout sans doute, le propriétaire du gîte, tout proche.. avec sa disponibilité complète, ses conseils de découverte, sa culture sans frontière, son ouverture d'esprit, sa vie, .. on est conquis ... Ce monsieur est bon pour la santé, comme l'endroit aussi ! Et quel artiste !! dessin, sculpture, architecture, texte, Merci Yves »

Nous avons passé un super sejour dans cette petite location tres agréable, fonctionnelle et tres bien placée pour visiter tous les lieux incontournables et passer une journée à la mer (3/4 d''heure pour descendre au Grau du Roi). Your own little stone house in the country

Staying here gives you a chance to live a day or two in a house that has the ambiance of old stone houses, but the interior of a modern stylish home. Its quirky interior features a large comfortable bed that you enter from the head end. Since the owner was an ocean sailor, he wanted the bed to feel a little like you are sleeping in the prow of a boat. A sitting area and dining area just outside the house make it fun to be outside there. When I rented the house, I had envisioned it being off by itself, but it is adjacent to a similar, larger home where the owner lives. This turned out to be a help because the owner went out of his way to provide whatever I asked for while his nephew, who spoke better English, helped me find places to walk and things to drive to see in the surrounding countryside. In one walk toward a little nearby town, I saw separately: white horses, black bulls, vineyards, olive groves, shaded forest. If you want to get a feel for what it's like outside of the larger cities or suburbs in that region, you'd like staying in this little house.

Absolutely Delightful

Website information was thorough and the facilities, location and comfort exceeded our expectations. Very charming, kind and generous owner. This is a lovely place, private and quiet with beautiful walking right on the doorstep. Sommieres & the Vidourle valley additionally provided plenty to do of various interest. Tour of Chateau de Vieilleville very worthwhile. Thank you loads (and not forgetting also exceptional value).
