"White Pines had been undergoing some renovations. Although this was still going on, I couldn't tell as the place was immaculate and everything new! Massages were advertised online but I was told when I got there they wouldn't be available for a couple of months. The room to which we were originally assigned would not allow for Wifi connection. The manager offered us another room, which was actually an upgrade. The Wifi came through there so that was very helpful. I wasn't sure what to expect with breakfast, but it was very comparable to other places. The breakfast room was on an upper floor while the regular one was being built on the main floor. Still, it was quite a nice breakfast with some variety. No hot foods, just microwaveable. The staff were extremely helpful. All in all, I would have given this a 5/5 for the price, but it gets a 4/5 because of the missing accommodations (wifi in the original room and no masseuse, although it had been advertised). No sauna nor pool nor gym, but we didn't care about that. Oh, I missed the Gideon Bible in the room. I did notice there were no drawers in the room. It would also help to have an overhead light in the wardrobe area. Thanks to all the staff! Krauses from Sept. 2026"
