This nautically inspired 2-Br. Condo sleeps 4 and is on the dock level. The Bow unit offers a king-sized bed in the master and 2-twin beds in the spare room. It features full size kitchen appliances and a lovely seating area and gas grill for those evenings outside. There are 2 Full bathrooms with double size walk-in showers. And a pull out couch in case you need more room. This adorable unit is within walking distance to all area shops and the fabulous restaurants here in SWH, a coffee shop and a full restaurant/bar right here on site. We are in the heart of Acadia National Park. Features of the park such as Bass Harbor Head Light and Echo lake are just minutes away. Take a hike up Beech Cliffs or Acadia Mnt. for panoramic views of the island. Spend an evening exploring Bar Harbor and all of its shops and hustle and bustle. Make sure to try a whale watch tour out of Bar Harbor or take a sunset cruise upon a Friendship sloop right from your doorstep! This little slice of heaven has something for everyone! This unit is one of two available at this location, should you need more space for family or friends please inquire as to availability. Both are similarly appointed and have been enjoyed by many extended family or friends groups! We are a working waterfront here so expect early mornings, we not only see the sun first here on the Northeast coast, but the lobstermen and the salmon farmers head out super early! Most guest find the hubbub exciting and super interesting but it may not suit everyone's vision of vacation time. We also offer a bit of adaptive gear should those considerations be of interest to our guests. The pictures don’t do it justice! This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the showers never ran out of hot water, and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with necessities. The views of the harbor right out the windows were beautiful. The area was quiet and relaxing. This was a perfect stay away from the busy tourist area of Bar Harbor, but within quick driving distance to everything on Mount Desert Island. It had plenty of space for three adults. My father, who is 87, appreciated the peacefulness of the location. He could sit outside and watch the workings of the marina. It was relatively close to Bar Harbor and Acadia where we spent most of our time. Christie made a book that gave many recommendations which was very helpful. When I reached out to her, she was super responsive as well. I would highly recommend this condo if you want to be close to Bar Harbor but want a peaceful place to relax at night. Very comfortable for my husband and I and our two young children (3 and 1). Great location as a home base for visiting Acadia and Southwest Harbor is a great little town. We did have some hot water issues the first few days but Christie the owner and Jane the manager were very responsive and worked to get the problem fixed quickly! We stayed in the “bow” unit and could not have been happier w/ our accommodations. Beautiful views of the inlet and sunrises. The condo is comfy cozy and well appointed. Very quiet and private We had a wonderful three nights here. Loved the area as it was much less hustle / bustle than Bar Harbor. It was still easy enough to get to Acadia and the surrounding area. The condo itself was a nice layout, and was nicely equipped. Very happy with our choice. It is always great to get some of the basics - paper towels, foil, plastic bags, some spices, etc. in the kitchen without having to worry about shopping for them. ##### Robert H. The unit was immaculate and well stocked. Christie, our host, was very accommodating. The location on the marina dock was very peaceful. It’s a short ride to the park and Bar Harbor. My only suggestion is that the description of the unit should make clear that the washer/dryer isn’t in the unit. It sits right on the wharf, but still offers privacy. We enjoyed watching the ebb and flow of the tide and the seabirds working the shoreline. Staying in Southwest Harbor is quiet and convenient for everything on the quiet side of MDI. The unit is large and comfortable and was spotless. An air source heat pump was great for cooling and heating. Kitchen was stocked with essentials, and the pancake mix and real Maine maple syrup was a nice touch! ##### Liz J. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Southwest Maine. Away from the business of Bar Harbor, but the same beauty and easy access to the park. The marina side condo was very nice.
