You will need to climb stairs to access this unit. Please note that this building was built in 1920 and has limited insulation causing noise to sometimes pass easily through the units. The roadway next to the building is Maine State Route 102 that has traffic passing through at all hours. The entire building observes a quiet time between 10:00PM-8:00AM which includes running your laundry as to not disturb the neighbors. \-Please note that you must be out of the Unit by 10:15AM the LATEST. You will receive a $150 fee if you are out of the unit later than 10:15AM and will be charged an additional $50 for every 15minute interval that you are late after that. We have had problems with guests leaving late in the past and need to make sure that our cleaning team has enough time to properly clean the unit before the next guests arrive. \-This building observes quiet time from 10:00PM-8:00AM and you are not allowed to make excessive noise or run the washer/dryer during those hours because of the noise it makes. This building is over 100+ years old and the walls are thinner than modern walls \-No pets are allowed in the unit. You will be charged a $400 Pet Fee if you are caught with a pet in the unit \-No parties or events are allowed in the unit. Short walk to sports bar and a great breakfast cafe down the street. 40 min drive to Bar Harbor which we went to twice, but we loved the traditional NE feel of Southwest Harbor. A few great traditional lobster houses close by in SWH and nearby Bass Harbor. Only wish the unit came with a blender and pitcher for iced tea. We visited in April before the season really kicks off, so many shops and restaurants were on limited seasonal hours or not yet open, but the location was so peaceful, the space was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, and the host was extremely responsive when we couldn’t get the showers hot and he had a technician out to take care of it within a few hours while we explored the park 2 moms with our almost-grown high school senior children had a terrific stay, made wonderful memories, and would definitely recommend.. ##### Julia T. Stayed with my husband and 18 and 20 year old sons. You do have to go up 3 flights of stairs to get to but it’s worth it for the high wooden ceilings that are beautiful. The view was nice but unfortunately we had foggy weather the 2 days we were there. Not too far from Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor. About a 20 minute drive. The Next Level sports bar across the street was convenient. The condo is in a quiet setting. The beds were very comfortable. I did feel a little self conscious of the quiet time rule from 10 pm to 8 am since we were on the top floor. Nice amenities and was very clean. We happened to be there during likely some of the hottest days of the year so the window AC unit didn’t help much in the bedrooms, but place had plenty of fans keep the unit cool. Enjoyed the views and the town is just a short walk to anything you could need. Easy to get to either Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Recommended! ##### Patrick B.
