"The add did not represent the reality of the house. There was no furniture. We were not allowed to use master bedroom with ensuite, the bedrooms had mattress cover and pillows with cases. A duvet with no covering. Nothing in kitchen to prepare a meal or eat off of. We had a kitchen table and 4 chairs, a single bed in the living room only. "This clean and cozy home is oozing small town charm! It has a great location on a quiet street, brightly lit within with large windows, firm comfortable bed and luxurious soft towels. It contained everything we needed to prepare our dinner and have a great weekend getaway. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt and he was very attentive. I would highly recommend this property and will stay again when I'm in the area."

"In general it was good, but when you check in after 12 am you have to call from the phone hanging on the left wall, but it doesn't work and there is no one at the reception desk, it's bad that you have to wait outside the door. There are no hangers for clothes in the rooms and no wardrobes, even small ones. The air conditioner is very old and worked loudly and prevented me from sleeping. They also request your credit card details upon check-in and enter them into their computer, which is not safe for you."

"Emily’s property was wonderful. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming, and she prepared great breakfasts for us. We stayed in the smallest of the three rooms with a shared bathroom, which was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. Since we were hardly ever at the property, it offered excellent value for the price, and it was exactly what we expected. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, and charming place to stay!"

It was quiet, which made for a good night’s sleep, and the location was convenient for our softball tournament. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay, I’d definitely recommend it."

"it was very clean. It would have been helpful to have seen how high the stairs where and how low the ceiling was in the bedroom as somebody tall or with limited mobility would have a very difficult time getting upstairs. As it was, we hit our head a couple of times on the beams. It would’ve been nice as the sun comes in bright in the morning to have curtains on the bedroom windows also. It was enjoyable to have an outdoor shower, but we were fortunate with having good weather. For the price, I think firewood should be included as it’s five dollars down the road and it seems like that would’ve been a nice added touch. The host kitty cat came by frequently which was an added bonus, but we had no idea what to call him or her. We were not aware that the only running water was in the shower, but we adapted quite easily and maybe that was included in the description and we missed it. The booklet provided was very informative and we did go down to the nearby restaurant for dinner and ice cream across the street. it was a great location to go rafting in the Elora Gorge, and to be able to visit the town of Elora. The hostess was easily available when we needed to text her about needing power and paper towels. The setting was lovely and we watched a beautiful sunset."
