"Honestly, it’s okay. It doesn’t give you that Fiji postcard experience. The property itself is gorgeous (but remember, it’s also Fiji so a gas station can also be gorgeous). We were super disappointed in the food / restaurant experience from every restaurant and meal. Extremely slow service (45 minutes to get complimentary bread), subpar food at very normal prices, and for being such a well known brand they could step up the overall cleanliness and experience of each restaurant. We truly left very ready and eager to leave which is disappointing (no one wants to feel that way on holiday). It has the bones to be better but not the execution. "

"Second visit, staff continue to be extremely friendly and helpful. Easy reach of the beach and the pool was great for an early morning lap swim. Excellent snorkelling spot 😊. Saw two black tipped reef sharks. Good food, great curries from the chef Vikram Singh. "

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Pacific Hotel for four nights, and it was truly a memorable experience. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. The breakfast buffet each morning was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including generous vegetarian choices and freshly prepared vegetable juices. It was the perfect way to start each day. Our room was clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The housekeeping and service attendants were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always greeting us with a smile and ensuring everything was just right. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we truly appreciated the hospitality and care shown to us throughout our time at the hotel."

"What you need to know. Fiji is HOT. Restaurants are not air conditioned. Snorkeling off resort is marginal. Food is good but buffet needs help. We did not need the food plan. People stake out the best spots at the adult pool even though they are not supposed to. Staff is delightful but make sure they understand you. Over all we were pleasantly surprised. We loved the sea front bure. "

"This place is a true gem, from the staff to the food to the rooms. It is outstanding. I would caveat that it’s not for everyone, there are limited options of food, there’s no room service, and some of the staff returns home every night. If you’re expecting a 24 seven full attention luxury resort this is not the place if he wants somewhere that is of exceptional quality with a lot of space for yourself and a bit more relaxed this is great. The staff is outstanding and extremely friendly, and the small number of guests and staff makes this a much more interesting stay than anything else. The pool is incredible, the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and the reef and sea is a true highlight. We are already planning our next trip back."
