Beautiful hotel . Decor cleanliness and facilities fantastic. The staff are helpful and nothing is too much trouble . The interior of public areas and rooms are stunning.Love it!
Very pleasant staff and overall decent experience.
We knew it was a small double room, but space could have been better used. The bed frame appeared to be a king bed, but it only had a double mattress and the flat screen TV was on a wall frame that protruded 300mm or so into the tight aisle space at the end of the bed.
We did mention this and a minor problem with the shower to the receptionist on the way out and she couldn't have been more apologetic.
Stayed for one night and was absolutely delighted.
The hotel was gorgeous warm and welcoming. The staff were very professional and friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel for couples or families.
We will be booking to stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The Hotel was truly lovely. We were just disappointed that we couldn’t have access to our room until 4 o’clock. We were also not offered a complimentary coffee/drink as a way of compensation.
This Hotel is fantastic, the only thing I would say is if you are staying and there is a wedding which you aren't part of, ask for a room away from the Ballroom. Myself and my husband went for a chilled weekend and our room was right above the disco for the wedding - so not so quiet! Other than that beautiful hotel and definitely worth a visit.
I had an amazing stay at the Rosilin. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the service was amazing, the breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in a hotel and room was spotless. My only criticism? There were only decaf coffee pods for the Nespresso machine 😂. Hopefully they’ll get more caffeinated ones for my next stay!
A truly lovely experience. Helpful efficient staff. Lovely facilities A clean good looking room and brilliant food . The Spa was especially lovely and the girls made us feel nothing was too much trouble.I booked it for my Husbands 65th Birthday and so many little complementary touches were added that made him feel like an honoured guest
An overnight stay to attend a family event and then return home. Room and facilities were excellent. We had little time to explore the other facilities!
Always stay at The Roslin, it goes from strength to strength, hotel is just the Best. Beautifully comfortable beds/pillows, rooms stunning. Just one thing I noticed this time, no long mirrors in the bedroom and I need a magnifying mirror in the bathroom please.
This was my second stay here. This hotel is really special. Brilliant staff, excellent food, comfortable, well appointed rooms and exceptionally clean.
Hotel itself lovely. Unlike our room. Had room 003 which was overlooking car park hence frosted window and door which was quite claustrophobic. And next to the kitchen. So noisy extractor fan all day and till late. Also to top it all beer barrel delivery right outside our window before 8am. Was booked for 3 nights but left after 2 as needed sleep! Not able to change room as none available on ground floor.
Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff food was delicious. Bed was so comfortable. Excellent selection of breakfast items. Outdoor definitelybstay again.
This hotel was without doubt one of thebest that I have stayed in. The detail in all the rooms was extremely tasteful and indvidually selected.
Car parking can be a challenge due to the number of day guests having afternoon teas as this coincides with check in time. However evening parking is more available.
The three night stay was excellent and nothing wass too much trouble for the Staff. Joelle in particular was outstanding in the restaurant.
I will stay at this outstanding hotel again as soon as possible.
I have stayed and eaten at the Roslin on numerous occasions. It is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful ambiance and view. The reception staff are very good. The restaurant experience is often slow and frustrating. For dinner we waited 20 minutes just to place the order. The Maitre D took our order as she noticed our difficulty in getting service from the waiters. Three items from the order were wrong and we were attended to by six different members of staff throughout the meal. No continuity of service. My fillet steak was perfectly cooked - my compliments to the chef. My triple fried chips were not triple fried. A coffee took 50 minutes to arrive. I was not happy to pay the service charge to be honest but did so as I just wanted to get out of their without any more fuss. My elderly Father found the lengthy meal exhausting and doesn’t want to return. That said, I will return for their Sunday lunch which is superb. Our room was well appointed and a decent size and in a quiet area of the hotel. It was upsetting though that neighbouring guests kept slamming doors throughout the night. Perhaps the doors can be adjusted to prevent the doors from slamming...?
From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel very welcome. The room was beautifully designed and comfortable with good amenities. Treated ourselves to afternoon tea as it was our anniversary and it was a lovely experience. All staff were courteous and friendly, lovely hotel.
Not what you would expect in a seaside town.
Fresh & clean. It was hot so the air-con was so inviting and unexpected.
The staff were wonderful and helpful and breakfast in bed was delightful.
My wife and I stay in lots of hotels and this on did not disappoint.
We would recommend it to everyone.
