Private parking for 5 cars. No smoking.. Poona Cottage is a charming, detached period holiday home on the edge of the breathtaking New Forest National Park, offering an idyllic retreat for up to six guests. Thoughtfully renovated, it blends traditional character with modern comforts, featuring exposed oak beams, an inglenook fireplace, and a cosy atmosphere.  
  
The cottage has three bedrooms: a king-size master with an ensuite (accessed via a private staircase), a second king-sized room, and a twin room, served by a shared upstairs washroom. A spacious ground-floor bathroom includes a luxurious bath and walk-in shower. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area open onto a secluded courtyard, while two lounges—one with a wood-burning stove—provide inviting spaces to relax. The large enclosed garden is perfect for morning coffee or alfresco dining.  
  
Ideally located for exploring the New Forest, Poona Cottage offers excellent access to scenic trails, free-roaming ponies, and charming villages like Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst, with their boutique shops, tearooms, and traditional pubs. Nearby, Burley, Lymington, and Beaulieu offer historic charm and independent stores.  
  
For coastal adventures, the stunning beaches of Milford-on-Sea and Highcliffe are just a short drive away. Popular attractions include Paultons Park (home to Peppa Pig World), Beaulieu Motor Museum, and Exbury Gardens. Adventurers can enjoy horse riding, kayaking, sailing, or rib rides, while day trips to Winchester, Portsmouth, or the Isle of Wight offer even more to explore.
