This property was the perfect choice for our family vacation. Myself, my husband, and our two boys (11 and 3) enjoyed the house as well as the surrounding amenities very much. Check in was a breeze! It was nice to meet the host in person and go over any questions right up front. The house had two living spaces which was wonderful to spread out a bit. The back deck was beautiful, we ate dinner outside most night. Overall we loved it!

Excellent location at the cape

Wonderful location just 7 minutes to the beach. Lots of amenities such as beach chairs, bogey boards, and towels that make the stay enjoyable. Very comfortable bed Nice outside patio and fire pit with wood supplied.

This rental had not been cleaned in months, years maybe, appliances were stacked three high (microwave-toaster oven-toaster), years of dust accumulated on furniture, walls, and fans. Bed sheets had sand in them. Bathroom had dried up urine stains on lid, floor had 50 years accumulated dirt, spiders in shower, and window screen in shower brown with thick brown dust. That was just the beginning of what was supposed to be a calming few days at the coast for my son and daughter in law before the soon-to-be birth of our grandchild! The use of the stacked appliances resulted in the toaster at the top melting when the middle toaster oven was used, resulting in the kitchen filling with toxic smoke which we had to use filthy fans in the house to get rid of, and smoke alarm never sounded! Later to lose the use of refrigerator which was tied into the same circuit for stacked appliances! The listing was less than truthful as well; no bath towels as promised, thread bare beach towels, useless, no washer/dryer as promised. No closet space to empty our suitcase, they were jammed full of owners clothing/junk. The unimaginable accumulation of dirt and dust was discovered when the a/c had to be plugged in behind the bed, that shock was only the first of many to follow….

Short family getaway

Great house! Within walking distance to small beach and short drive to larger beaches. House is on a quiet street but still close to commerce if needed. My 3 kids (8-13 y/o) loved the full and twin bunk beds. We had plenty of space with 2 living rooms, big deck, small yard and nice fire pit area. Kitchen is a bit dated but clean and spacious and had everything needed to cook a few easy meals. Bathroom is small but not an issue for us, as we prefer the outdoor shower after being on the beach.

Location, location, location. We had a lovely stay at this place. The beach was walking distance although most days we dropped everyone in all our gear off, drove home and then biked the five minute bike ride to the beach, and did the reverse at the end of the day. Beautiful outdoor spaces, nice indoor rooms with two living rooms that allowed for teens and adults to do their own thing. Several beach things in the shed, like chairs and bikes. Both AC and fan options which was nice. Some thoughtful touches like an extra propane tank for the grill, Short drive to restaurants, convenience, stores, mini golf, ice cream and more. Owner was communicative and helpful. We hope we can rent here again!
