Oceanfront cottage. Private beach and deck directly on Nantucket Sound with spectacular ocean views, . Swim, fish, boat, tan in your sandy back yard. Enjoy free use of our kayaks. Sleeps 2-3. Queen size bed. Sofa chair also opens up into another bed ideal for a child. Full bath, galley kitchen, AC, Cable TV, Internet, Wi-Fi, gas grill. Cottage is available by the week or by the month and weekends off-peak.

Activities a short stroll away include restaurants, icecream, playground beach, rental of water toys including kayaks, jet skis, para-sailing and race boat rides. This property is centrally located waterfront, address #51 south shore drive...enjoy your private beach or stroll down to shops, restaurants and public beaches along south shore drive. Mini golf, waterpark and Pirate Museum also nearby.

  • My kids LOVE this place. I personally don't see the attraction. It's a fun thing to do in Cape Cos. Lots of inflatables to bounce and play on including water ones. It's been recently been restored. Really good way to exhaust your children.

The location is very nice, right on the beach. There are many restaurants a short drive away.The cottage was clean and had most of things needed, you do need to bring your own queen sized sheets, towels, and paper products (there are paper products there, but no replacements). The cottage is very small, especially the bathroom, so be prepared for that.

The beach cottage

Accommodations well suited for two adults. The beach is literally on your doorstep. Location to other town resources and highway easy to get to.

A gem in a perfect location

We’ve been to the Cape many times, for many years, but this place is very special. The location cannot be beat and having the private beach for a backyard is amazing! The house is very small but had all we needed, was perfect for me and my two kids. The beds were comfortable and the off street parking in the driveway was very nice. If you know Yarmouth, this location is very easy to get to anything you’d want to go to. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

Beautiful Cozy Getaway!

Beautiful Cozy Getaway by the ocean! My wife and I had an enjoyable relaxing time! The sound of the waves was so soothing! The beaches and views were beautiful!

Amazing

We had a wonderful time. Place was adorable and absolutely perfect. It was clean with magnificent views from every window. One of the best vacations we have been on. We are looking forward to going back next year.

Amazing location

We were looking for somewhere that was right on the beach and we could not have asked for a better location! We stayed a few days after visiting Nantucket and it was exactly what we were looking for! Literally on the beach. The home was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our time there!

Sand and surf by the ocean

Stayed 5 days in Yarmouth by the water. Wasnt bad despite couple days of rain. Small space but cozy. Felt like if you went to bed you would wake up floating on the water was so close to the ocean.

Fantastic cottage

Dawn the host was great and very helpful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The location is amazing , you can hear the waves when you are inside the cottage, I didn’t need my sound machine at night to fall asleep to for ocean wave sounds, I got to hear the real ocean waves. I will be booking again for next summer.

A compact little cottage on the beach

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in early September. The weather was hot and muggy, so we were grateful for the air conditioning. The cottage is tiny but it had everything we needed to cook meals. We found the murphy bed to be very comfortable and easy to open and close.

Loved but new price is insane

Absolutely loved this property. The house was small, clean, and right on the beach. Perfect for 2 people. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I just went to book this place again for next year and the price has been raised to $600 a night. So sad, I wanted to go back but not at that price.

Cozy, tiny cottage by the sea.

We had a very sweet time, we love and enjoy coming to the Cape every summer. This little cottage was very cozy and conveniently located next to the ocean. It is very small, the bed is a Murphy wall bed that you pull out. So for a couple or a single person is fine. I just feel like we paid way too much for the space. We loved and enjoyed the stay but we do feel it was a bit overpriced.

The BEST Birthday/Mother's Day Getaway!!

The description is exactly as stated and just as wonderful as it sounds! If you want a little romantic getaway or a little bit of solitude, then this is the place. It has exactly what you need and so much more...the constant sound of the waves were my favorite. You can hear them whether the windows are open or closed so don't let the off season stop you! It was amazing to be able to see the sun and moon rise over the water right from the bed. If it's warm enough for you, take the opportunity to sit out on the beach deck to watch the stars in your pj's..because you can! There wasn't a moment we didn't enjoy and that includes one of those days that I was sick unfortunately. Is there a better place to feel lousy? Dawn was so easy to communicate with and very responsive. Thank you again Dawn! We look forward to coming back down!

A little gem

This is my second time staying at this property and it continues to be a perfect little getaway. Came with my boyfriend for a quick escape. Love that my toes touch sand as soon as I open the front door. Truly a peaceful little spot. House is as described and nice and cozy. We slept with the windows opened and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. Loved the deck in the back with the Adirondack chairs. Hyannis port is a close 15 minute drive and has lots of restaurants and cute little shops. We also took the ferry from Hyannis to Martha Vineyard for the day. Perfect little escape to the cape!

Compact, Cozy, Delightful

Perfect for two. Loved having the ocean at our doorstep. The Murphy bed was sturdy and comfortable. The small kitchen area was likely not suitable for gourmet cooking, but could serve well for basic vacation meals (We ate all our meals out. ). Overall, the cabin was clean and neat and cozy. The early May weather was cool but pleasant. Some of our time was spent (with jackets on) sitting on the deck drinking morning coffee while watching the ocean and the few people who walked by. We also did some walking on the almost totally vacant beach. A very peaceful and restful stay. The owners were very accommodating and allowed us a late checkout. They stayed in contact with us via text throughout our stay and were quick to offer to remedy any problems (We had none).

Relaxation

Location can’t be beat! Although small, this property has everything you need. The sunrises were spectacular. We loved having our coffee/wine on the deck watching the waves. Ideal for couples needing a romantic getaway. Check in was very easy and our hosts were incredibly responsive.
