This property was such a pleasant surprise for us. We were immediately struck by the curb appeal. Lovely grounds that are obviously well cared for. Upon entering the cottage we were impressed by how immaculate it was. Kathlene has really created a cozy little getaway here. Everything was comfortable and we had everything we could need - just add groceries! Kathlene was the perfect host, we truly enjoyed our time in the cottage. The location is such that you are in a nice, quiet area, but minutes away from stores, restaurants, and attractions. Windmill Beach was about a quarter mile away (walkable) with other town beaches not much further off. My family and I would go back in a second - we HATED to leave!! This cottage is great for two people or 2 plus. There are two bedrooms and a good size living room as well as a small but large enough kitchen and a small bathroom. Everything is comfy and in good repair. There are no leaks in the roof and no sags in the floor. All appliances worked fine. The cottage was very clean and shiny when we arrived and is very easy to take care of. The owners are wonderfully nice and a pleasure to do business with. The location is fairly quiet although there is some to be expected street traffic as well as landscape maintenance activity but nothing that detracts from your stay. Good ocean beaches are about a mile away, and grocery shopping is half a mile away, as well as everything other store you might need for your visit.
