What a find! This place is a newly opened small boutique guest house built in Colonial style that has everything you could wish for during your stay in Hikkaduwa. Peter, the owner, is a man many years in the hospitality trade who is incredibly welcoming and hospitable, going out of his way to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable at all times. The rooms are minimally furnished, but have everything you want and there is also access to a common lounge/dining area for further relaxation...

Spectacular setting on the beach with a lovely pool looking over the ocean. Staff are wonderful and the curries delicious - the spa was such a great treat too.

If you want a little time in a luxurious place with great service look no further! Stayed there a few days as a little treat for ourselves and we really enjoyed our time! On-site restaurant with attentive staff, good room service, wonderful swimming pool with a view and the owners live on site and are very kind people! Super close to Secret beach, a tuk tuk ride away from other great beaches... Recommend this place. Very new too so facilities are in great condition.

Very nice experience

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, lovely property, friendly and effective staff. The location just outside Galle Fort is perfect, a short walk or even shorter tuk tuk ride up the hill and the peace and sanctuary of historic Sun House. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Hotel was excellent. Tucked away in nature looking over the lagoon and a 5 min walk away from a quiet beach. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Room was clean and very large with a balcony looking out over the pool. Breakfast was tasty and the restaurant served a great dinner. The beach has turtles nesting and hatching at night time. Would come back!

From the moment you step into cape welligama to the moment you leave, you are being looked after by the staff with such immense care and attention to detail. The responsiveness and personalisation is excellent, and a level of service I have not encountered in any hotel before. The resort is well set up for young families, and our room had easy access to what felt like a very private swimming pool. The swimming pools are set to have great views, and we had monkeys and peacocks come to say hello....

Spacious clean comfortable. Best hotel in Galle by far.

We spent six nights at the Asian Jewel and found it a wonderfully restful place to stay, with lovely gardens and a small clean swimming pool. We had the “Kingfisher” room which allowed wonderful views of the lagoon from the really large balcony. The restaurant offers really excellent Sri Lankan and western food. The special Sri Lankan curry is highly recommended. All the staff are very friendly and, most importantly, helpful. They accommodated all of our needs. While not actually hotel staff,...

Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good...

Suite Lanka is such a lovely place. We stayed for 11 days so longer than most and throughout our stay the staff didn’t put a foot wrong. This is what makes this place special. If you want an ultra modern bland hotel then this is definitely Not your place. Our rooms ( pool suite and adjoining room) were comfortable and spacious, with good air con and beautiful bathrooms. Beds were really good quality and comfortable. The pool is not massive but god enough for a cool off and immaculately...

I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! We were welcomed with drinks and a hotel towel. Breakfast was amazing. Staff are really nice. Highly recommend.
