"Card readers for the room didn’t work for the first day and a half of our stay so we continuously had to go to the front office to get someone to open our room for us. Every time house keeping came to clean our room they would leave the dirty towels and not supply us with fresh, clean towels so we would have to ask them. You get one free meal ticket for each member for one day of your stay, not a free breakfast included for the entirety of your stay, which was one of the reasons I chose this location is that it promoted free breakfast included. Staff was kind and helpful, rooms are older, but decent."

"We stayed 1 night and found staff to be friendly and our room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking available and a nice breakfast was provided. We would stay again and recommend it to people we know."

"Overall, we had a fantastic stay at The Citizen Hotel! Check-in and checkout were both incredibly easy, and the staff made everything feel seamless. The restaurant downstairs was a highlight. We ate there for multiple meals and everything was fantastic. Our room was also nicely updated, comfortable, and had a lot of character. My only real feedback would be around cleanliness. There wasn’t a fitted sheet on the mattress, which was a bit of a bummer, and the shower had some visible mold in a few areas. The air filter was also noticeably full of dust and dirt and looked like it could use a good cleaning or replacement. Those details aside, we really enjoyed our stay and had a great experience overall. With a little more attention to the room cleanliness, it would have been excellent!"
