"They had a fabulous fire pit, had a swimming pool, playground for kids that was gated! The pool was also heated and gated which was awesome! They had a recreation room for a small area to just hang out so you didn’t have to stay in your room if you didn’t want to. The lighthouse is less than 5 minutes away! Will definitely go back. The staff went over and above for us! Recommend this place!"

"This rental was exactly as described! Stunning views with direct access to a private beach on the bay side. A truly wonderful escape in a beautiful, remote location with its own private beach. Surrounded by natural beauty, the setting was peaceful and wonderfully secluded - the perfect place to slow down and enjoy long walks on the island. An idyllic retreat for anyone looking to enjoy a quiet break. You need to be aware that the island does get cut off from the mainland during high tide, but it is fairly easy to work around. The property is well maintained. It has two kitchens and two living areas which was perfect for a larger group, providing plenty of room to relax. Plus a great outdoor seating area and a look out area with great views over the bay. Having four bathrooms was also very helpful. Communication and service from the property management company was fantastic and the information clearly laid out. Overall a great experience!"

"The newly renovated rooms were bright and comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to try the indoor pool, but it looked nice! The only complaint I have is that our reservation states free breakfast but the management said that was an error. They compromised by paying a portion of our breakfast. I think free breakfast would be a nice amenity since there is a restaurant on the premises. It also would be nice if they gave you an option of tea along with coffee in the rooms."

"Great location; we love lieutenant island. The house is fine plenty of beds in small rooms- no closets or places to hang up clothes in rooms. Great view from upper deck, loungers and plenty of table seating inside and out. Unfortunately there is little comfortable seating inside- just one small couch in the tv area so only room for 2 to read or watch tv etc at night , cool or inclement weather."

"We love Lt. Island and have been coming for years. We had a great time, the highlight for my grandson was jumping off the bridge that connects the mainland to the island at high tide. The house is roomy with multiple levels which allowed all of us to spread out and the kitchen and living areas made for a great gathering space. We highly recommend!"

"The property is beautiful-water views from everywhere and that is what you are paying for but like others who have stayed here I will say that the house needs some work! There are a lot of stairs down to the beach and there are several hours of the day you cannot sit out there due to high tide (you can make the most of it by sitting on a deck they have built about 1/4 way up from the beach). The upstairs of the house does get very hot in the afternoon due to all the windows -they have added some curtains to help but it just doesn't ever feel cool up there on a hot day. The 2 queen bedrooms are located on the floor where you enter the house- and only one of them has an a/c unit in it-my child was ok with a fan but it definitely wasn't "cool" in there. The second floor is kitchen/dining/living with 2 decks (and all your amazing views!) The basement is a bed bath combo but no door. Also I was surprised that there were no closets- not one! And basically one dresser in the first bedroom which had to be shared. My advice is to make the most of your time and not concentrate on the negatives. We had a very peaceful, relaxing week... this is the most quiet rental we have ever been to! Look out for hot tub attendant on Fridays (I was in my pjs when he showed up unannounced) He is very nice and friendly and it's great the hot tub is maintained weekly. DelMar was great as far as property management goes! They respond very quickly and were eager to make sure we were set for our week."
