'Little Neck' is situated on 7 acres of pristine preserve with arguably the most spectacular view of Buzzards Bay looking down the Slocum River. Ospreys, striped bass, sailing, kayaking, swimming, bird watching - a rare piece of Heaven on the South Coast of Massachusetts. Our spacious New England summer home (now winterized) invites you to sit on the large porch with the above spectacular view, or in the lovely sunroom with picture window views of the river and the bay, binoculars included! The privacy and comfort of the four en suite bedrooms provides an enjoyable stay for a group of family and friends. The dining room table with its water view seats ten for an easy and delicious dinner of corn-on-the-cob and fresh fish prepared on the large gas grill on the east terrace. The evening can be spent exploring the large library in the living room, stocked with novels, field guides, TV, movies, and games. The rental property is the spacious and prominent upper two floors of a large, three-story hillside house; the main rental entry is on ground level. The lower floor apartment, situated below the hill, is occupied by one of the sisters with separate entry and rear parking area. Renters have complete privacy and the lay of the land allows both units to co-exist wonderfully. The light, the sunrises, the sunsets, moon rises, the moon sets, the water, the river wildlife and the comfort of this very special home were very hard to say good-bye to. The four bedrooms, each with their own bath is great, as is the big dinner table. The house itself is wonderful, with many of the owners' treasures, lots of inspiring books, binoculars and good olive oil. The owner met us and was there if we needed anything, but we didn't. It is an old house that has had very few updates. More like a museum than a rental accommodation.
