Newly renovated kitchen with quartz “Sea Glass” countertops, backsplash and Nantucket farm sink. Truly a well equipped cooks kitchen. This year round low allergen, open concept home has 3 bedrooms, 2 newly updated baths, new Central AC, large two level outdoor deck with electric retractable awning, creating a comfortable outdoor room with high end patio furniture overlooking beautifully landscaped yard. Sleeps 6-8 comfortably and has a queen sleeper sofa bed for up to 10 guests. All rooms are nicely appointed with your comfort in mind. Designed to be a peaceful and serene retreat with high end details and artwork throughout. The master bedroom has a private newly renovated en suite bath, new king memory/gel infused mattress. The guest/kids bedroom has four nautical inspired design bunk beds children just love, a TV with Wii player. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed also with a new Simmons Beauty Rest mattress. The Sunroom-Great room has the queen sleeper sofa. Spacious open concept with, fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a large skylight including new high end ‘Elite' dishwasher. Eat in kitchen is an open concept to the living room with fireplace and bright sun room with cathedral ceiling and more skylights with a slider doors leading out to the spacious rear deck overlooking flower beds and vegetable & herb gardens for your use and enjoyment. This outdoor space has a new Weber Genesis grill with sear station for perfect outdoor gourmet meals. This home sits on the desirable south of RT 28, Nantucket Sound ocean side at the end of a cul-de-sac where kids can safely run, bike and play while parents enjoy this great living space. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac it is very quiet with bird life galore. So peaceful all you hear is the ocean at night. This home comes equipped with a variety of amenities including high speed WiFi, Xfinity on Demand cable TV with several movie channels and new flat screen smart HDTV with voice activated remote control, Roku, Blu-Ray-DVD and lots of board games. We even provide a selection of quality bikes in a variety of sizes for our adult guests and children to enjoy, including a couple Cannondale’s, Gary Fisher, even a beautiful adult Bermuda bicycle built for two, Trek Trainer and a Schwinn double tandem which attaches to one of the adult bikes. We absolutely loved our stay at John's place! The home looks exactly like the pictures and it was pristine when we arrived. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and John was extremely accommodating for us to check in both early and depart late. His welcome guide for the home came in handy multiple times - especially his recommendation for linen rentals (we would also highly recommend Cape Cod Linen Rentals - David was fantastic!). The home had all of the amenities we needed and it was a great place for two families with small children to stay. It's very close to a number of beaches, which were great for some winter walks, and not too far from Chatham's downtown. We also loved that we were able to bring our dog for the weekend. We truly had zero complaints or concerns about our stay - one of the most pleasant home rental experiences our group has had. We will definitely be back! ##### Mireille H. I booked this property over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was wonderful! John, the owner, was wonderful to work with and was able to offer flexibility with an earlier check-in and later check-out. The house interior is tastefully decorated and well-cared for, and the use of bikes on property was great, and the beach is just a short walk and we enjoyed watching the evening sunset. I highly recommend renting the property And hope to book again this summer. ##### Kim K. The weather was beautiful, we could easily walk to the beach or ride one of the many provided bikes (which was great!!). The house was clean, the rooms were nice and big. The Cape Escape is a great place for a relaxing vacation. The home is beautifully decorated and very inviting - the owners have taken great care in providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere. It's conveniently located in a nice, quiet residential area. We enjoyed all that Chatham has to offer - great restaurants, beaches, bike trails and a quaint downtown area which is nice for strolling...We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends. The house offers all the comfort you need away from home. The location of the property is at close proximity to many threat hiking places. Chatham is a charming town where we can stroll around and enjoy an ice cream cone! The communication with the owner about finding tips about visiting the area is great. Thank you John. John’ family house was perfect for a birthday getaway long weeeked, this mostly modernized house was just the right amount of quiet but close to town, and at most a 10 min walk to a great local beach. House was well stocked and John was one of the more attentive and proactive owners I have had the pleasure of renting from having used HomeAway a bunch in the past. Beautifully maintained! We loved our stay at “Cape Escape”! We have been vacationing at a family home in East Harwich since 2013 and are familiar with the area. This year we celebrated our wedding with 18 family members and needed a 2nd home. We could not have made a better choice! The location, home and all of the amenities were everything we had hoped for. Walkable to the beach. It was in excellent condition and clean. The recent remodeling/updating is fantastic. Bike supply was terrific and we biked to the beach and the local rail to trail. We loved our stay and our vacation was one to remember! The home was great. It was very clean, well kept and comfortable. It was conveniently located and we were on the go every day. We traveled up and down the coast, spent a day at Martha's Vineyard, another day at Nantucket, went whale watching and saw may other sites. Everyday was something different and beautiful views everywhere we went. I definitely would love to visit again in the future! John was great to deal with and is very friendly. Hospitality was quite spectacular- from the time we booked our reservation through the end of our stay. The host checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and communicated clearly about house rules and how to use appliances. The house was beautiful, located on a quiet street about a 10 minute walk from the beach, 3/4 of a mile from a bike and running path, and in close proximity to many other beaches and places to visit on the Cape. The beach chairs, toys, and bikes available to us were perfect. It was a great vacation. ##### william g. The house was exquisite; clean, in excellent repair, roomy and a very relaxing atmosphere. The setting of the home on the cup-de-sac made for a very peaceful and quiet location. The owner, John Muldoon, was also very responsive and a gracious host. A highlight was the proximity of the beach. With beach paraphernalia and children we drove each day (2 cars) and never had a problem parking. It was as if we had our own private beach to enjoy. Two weeks wasn't enough. It was very hard to leave. I highly recommend this home. It absolutely deserves Five Stars!!! ##### Charles H. The location was great. It was a short drive to downtown Chatham, and a number of other nice cape towns. It was a short walk, or really short bike ride down to beautiful and walkable Forest Beach. The house feels like home the moment you walk in the door. Arriving at the property was super easy. The house is immaculately clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. John was an excellent host, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
