"The hotel is really handy for the Ruta del Cares, being pretty much at the start. Rooms are basic but comfortable and the free breakfast is welcome - juice, tea or coffee, scrambled eggs, toast and pastries bright to you by friendly staff. We ate one evening at the hotel and dinner was good and well priced - probably the best Fabadas Asturianas I ever had to be honest!"

"The location next a very nice beach was its best feature. However, we were put into a room in a building that was not attached to the hotel proper rather than in a room in the actual hotel. "The Picos de Europa Suites and Rooms are a few minutes drive from Potes. Our suite was spacious and comfortable although the hot weather meant that we didn’t feel like using the whirlpool bath. We didn’t take the breakfast option but drove into Potes. Laura gave us a list of restaurant recommendations and the two which we used were very good. She also gave us ideas for places to go sightseeing and hiking. She and her colleague were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice garden to sit and enjoy the fantastic scenery."
