These cottages are great for a couples getaway. We have stayed in Sonoma dozens of times and typically stay in a hotel. This place was quiet, cozy and had all of the amenities needed, including a small kitchen. We loved our cottage! It was close to downtown (though it's a bit hard to walk with no side-walks for the beginning), clean, cute, great for families, and had all the amenities we needed. Communication was great. The stairs are quite loud and you can hear everything throughout the cottage (voice, upstairs walking, etc). Overall - amazing!! The cottage was cozy and easy to access and the kitchen was stocked with all necessary items if you wanted to cook. The housekeepers were wonderful and always said hello when they saw guests outside. There was an option to provide an additional tip for the housekeepers if you wanted, however, we saw the envelope too late and didn’t have cash on us, so keep that in mind if you book! It was bigger than we had envisioned from the pictures and was so clean. We loved having the living room with a tv and a kitchen too. Check-in with the keypad on the door was super easy. The cottages are next to Sonoma’s Best, a wine/coffee/ breakfast/souvenir shop, which was very convenient. I’d say downtown Sonoma is just out of walking distance but we made do with driving ourselves or taking Lyft/Uber. Each cottage has a designated parking spot and everything is behind a gate which makes you feel really safe. Pros: clean, designated parking spot, grocery store onsite with hot food, less expensive than other stays in Sonoma, nice little garden area.
