Chantal & Christian are pleased to welcome you to their renovated cottage in 2014, located in Birkenwald, Alsace.

This beautiful house, has a superb flat foot, spacious 130 m2, which can accommodate up to 6 people. The apartment has an individual entrance. You will marvel at the direct view of the deer and deer park from our property.

Escape to this small village of 300 inhabitants, near the forest to admire its landscapes and its castle of the sixteenth century. Hike, enjoy nature, discover our Alsatian specialties with our two gourmet restaurants.

Here nature is king. We invite you to relax to the quiet surroundings: take the time to pause and open your senses; listen carefully to the songs of birds, the call of the deer. Rediscover the smell of the air, flowers and even that of the earth.

Residents adjacent to the cottage, we are at your disposal to direct you to the different sites, cities and monuments to visit (Strasbourg, Saverne, etc.). 5km from the village shops.
Discover our beautiful Christmas markets (Strasbourg, Colmar, Kaysersberg)
Taste good pie outbreak, pretzels and all of our other Alsatian culinary specialties .... Allow yourself to simply live!

Great Place to Stay

Fabulous property in a beautiful village location. Everything is very well presented and very clean and tidy. Chantal, the host, is most agreeable and accommodating, and will go out of her way to help if you wish it, or leave you alone to your own devices if you don't. I highly recommend a visit to the area for all the sights and sounds Alsace has to offer and the warm welcome you will receive..

Schöne Ferien

Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub gehabt in Birkenwald. Der Empfang war recht herzlich. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Und wir haben uns jeden Tag über die Hirsch gefreut. Die Umgebung ist wirklich schön und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge.

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Bereits bei der Anreise wurden wir sehr herzlich von Chantal begrüßt. Mit vielen guten Tipps und Vorschlägen für Ausflüge hat sie unseren Urlaub sehr bereichert. Sehr schön war es auch, abends mit einem Gläschen regionalem Wein im Garten zu sitzen und die Hirsche zu beobachten. Die Umgebung ist für Wanderungen und Ausflüge nach Straßburg oder Colmar sehr gut geeignet. Wir können die Ferienwohnung und auch die Vermieter nur wärmstens empfehlen

Idéalement placé pour rayonner sur l’Alsace, de Colmar à Strasbourg. De Strasbourg à l.Allemagne. Vu très rapprochée sur un parc avec une trentaine de biches et de cerf.

Le gîte est fidèle aux photos de l'annonce, spacieux et très propre, bien équipé. La literie est confortable. Le site est très calme ; la maison est en bord de route, mais il ne passe quasiment aucune voiture. Excellent accueil de la propriétaire qui donne de bons conseils pour les visites aux alentours. Séjour parfait dans la campagne alsacienne

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au gîte du cerf. Spacieux, confortable, propre et bien équipé, la communication avec les hôtes est facile et chaleureuse :-) Balades sympas dans les environs, et cadre très agréable. Équipement bébé sur place bien appréciable ! Astuce : on avait bloqué l'accès de la cuisine avec des sacs de voyage pour éviter que notre tornade marchante de 15 mois ne s'éparpille trop, et c'était parfait ! Tout le monde a adoré ce séjour ! MERCI !

Idylle pur

Man kann es kaum beschreiben! Die Vermieter sind super nett, freundlich´, in jeder Hinsicht kommunikativ und zuvorkommend. Bei diesem Objekt fehlt es an nichts und man kann bequem mit leichtem Gepäck anreisen. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und läßt nichts zu wünschen übrig! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Wer sich vorab kundig macht kann auch in der näheren Umgebung viel unternehmen und Sehenswürdigkeiten besichtigen. Diese Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen. Ich werde dieses Angebot bestimmt öfter wieder nutzen und dann mit Anhang vorbeischauen. Ich freue mich schon auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen!
