"The room was clean and spacious. Staff were always friendly and willing to assist. Breakfast was including and not too bad! Enjoyed assortments of bagels and a small variety of jelly’s available and cream cheese and butter. Coffee with different flavored creamers available as well as hot tea. There are a few different cereals to choose from and some fruits such as apples, bananas, and oranges. Yogurt and oatmeal are available as well. Check in was smooth and so was check out. We are appreciative of such a lovely place with a homey vibe. Thank you for having us!"

"Great spot for a fishing trip. The house is new and was clean when we arrived. Comfortable bed and the decor gives it a lodge feel without being overdone. It’s in a quiet part of town and close to Kenai River access, so getting on the water was easy. Soldotna is right down the street for groceries and restaurants.Because it’s new, there isn’t much landscaping yet — the yard is mostly dirt and gravel. That wasn’t a big deal for us, and there is a fire pit and a back deck. Finished landscaping would go a long way to enjoying the outdoor spaces of the home.A couple of finishing touches are still in progress — some trim boards weren’t fully secured — but it didn’t affect the stay. Would book again."

"We had the most amazing girls’ trip at this beautiful Alaska home! All of us came from different parts of the country, and one of our friends had heard about this property from someone who had stayed there before. We were looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to spend time together—and this house was absolutely perfect. Sept was a perfect month to visit!The house was exactly as beautiful as the pictures, and honestly, it exceeded our expectations. The great room was perfect for our nightly themed parties, and we spent so much time gathered around the outdoor fireplace in the backyard, talking, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company.None of us are fishermen, but that didn’t matter at all. We loved sitting by the river, taking in the peaceful scenery, and simply enjoying the beauty of Alaska.The house was exceptionally clean and had absolutely everything we could have wanted for our stay. We cooked some amazing dinners and had so much fun hosting our own little dinner parties. And we especially appreciated the little details—like having beautiful martini glasses for our evening espresso martinis!This home gave us the perfect setting for an unforgettable girls’ trip. We loved every minute of our stay and are already hoping to come back someday with our families. Next time, maybe we'll even try our hand at fishing!Thank you for sharing such a wonderful home with us. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our annual girls’ getaway!"

"The house was very spacious and very clean. The house was nice to stay in.The host didn’t respond to my questions for assistance and the VRBO AI was of no help. The pellet stove did not ignite and the fire pit was was not easy to locate since it was stored in the back corner of a shed.Also plan on bringing soap and shampoo as none was provided. Pantry is minimally stocked so be prepared to by some necessities for cooking.Proximity to the Kenai and Kasilof was excellent."
