"Mostly clean except found a towel with makeup on it and the same makeup on the bathroom light switch and wall. Kind of grossed me out although everything else appeared to be clean."

"Very convenient to DelMar racetrack. Quiet property. Staff needs improvement in customer service. Not very friendly. Also we were traveling with two other couples and requested at least one late check out by one hour as our train didn’t leave till 12:40 pm …. She said she needed to let housecleaning make that call…. Never offering to store our luggage….housekeeping said no!"

"Updated and modern hotel with comfortable beds and rooms. Location is nice as you can exit the hotel to the street behind the hotel; then the walkway and stairs to the Solana Beach are easily accessible. There are no nice views to the sides of the hotel but again the location with walks on the beach and Del Mar restaurants are nearby. Staff was great at this hotel."

"Breakfast was great, room was very clean. Hotel was very busy but it’s summer so definitely expected. The pool was crystal clear, bright blue! I can’t emphasize how great the pool was enough. I am extremely picky with pools and cleanliness of said pools. With that being said, it was one of the best pools I’ve had at a hotel stay and it’s up there with some of our favorite resorts. We noticed they were trying to charge for parking but waived it for us no problem though which we did find sketchy… not sure about that. Other than that, great stay and very close to the beach and I love that the gas station and little Mexican spot we’re walking distance literally feet away . We walked for snacks and food multiple times!"

"The property was absolutely beautiful, we had a great stay. The only challenge for was the temperature in the guest bedroom. The ceiling fan was not operational so we had to get creative with the box fans that were available. However, that wouldn’t stop us from coming back again. You will love your stay here!"

"This is our second year staying at this house and we absolutely love it!! The owner Mimi is awesome and communicates promptly! This house had plenty of space for our 2 families, a dream space for our kids, the kitchen has everything you need and also has everything you need for the beach!"
