SLOPE SIDE Soaring Eagle is located about a mile from Snowshoe Village and is well connected to trail systems for bicycling, hiking, and walking.

We had a blast and the condo was perfect for our group of 6 adults. It was my birthday present to me- skiing with a friend and my boys plus my DIL and son’s GF. The view was so pretty. We love this property for the ease of ski in /ski out, rentals and lift tickets right there and the awesome outdoor hot tubs. It’s our second stay at Soaring Eagle and definitely won’t be our last!
We had a great time in a perfect property. 6 adults stayed for a complete week and could not be more satisfied. Parked under the building out of the weather. Plenty of space for all of the groceries and refrigerated items. Best stocked kitchen we have ever seen with quality utensils, pans and appliances. There is a reason it is expensive, because youare getting what you pay for!!!!
Wonderful rental for four night vacation. Easy check-in driving to the mountain. Garage parking and elevator with luggage cart available. Rented ski equipment in the same building, very easy. Did have to drive to the village to pick up Flex passes otherwise they sell lift tickets next door at Top of the World. Restaurant Prime 10 in the building was fantastic. We ate there multiple times and enjoyed a drink at the bar. Easy access to the slopes via Soaring Eagle chair lift. Lockers downstairs made it easy to store equipment. Unit was quiet on the top floor and well appointed with all needed kitchen items. Would highly recommend.
Have been to two other properties in this building and this is the 3rd time here. Always clean, best location and amenities Disappointed no wood fire in lobby this stay. One of elevators wasn’t working properly. All of hot tubs functioning well this year ( last year only one was hot). Wish Hoots was open later for food service. Girl working as hostess in lobby didn’t understand English very well. Had some problems with communication. Another woman was a bit rude when we were trying to pack our van (couldn’t fit in parking deck- too high). She didn’t want us to load at the front door in a snow storm. She wanted us to hand carry everything out in high winds and frigid temps. I feel when you’re paying 1000 a night, certain amenities are expected. But even with all this nit picking, we love it there. Later for good.
This was the best place I have stayed at in snowshoe in the 20 plus years I have been going there. Large spacious bedroom for master, kitchen and living room. Easy access to the slopes. Very clean and everything you need for great stay
Excellent location with easy access to the lifts. Underground parking was a huge benefit when checking in on a day with high winds and subzero temperatures! Condo was very clean beds were comfortable. Great view of the mountains from the family room. No issues during our stay and would certainly return in the future.

The views from this Condo are amazing. Was nice to wakeup to a beautiful sunrise. The condo was spotless and well equipped. The furniture and beds were comfortable. Everything about this condo was first rate.
Four of us stayed at the condo. It was so unlike a "rental condo"...beautifully decorated, gorgeous views, great summer weather. This property (Snowshoe resort) is really underutilized in the summer. We rode the Cass railroad 5 hour trip to Bald Knob, and went to Green Bank observatory. Great fun!!!
We really enjoyed our stay in this fabulous corner unit. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. It’s in a perfect location, right by the Soaring Eagle lift. We loved having access to the storage lockers for skis/snowboards and being able to use the parking garage under the building. It was easy to return our rentals right next-door at Top of the World. We caught the shuttle to go to dinner in the village one night but enjoyed cooking other meals in the condo. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cookware. We’d definitely rent this unit again.
Despite fairly warm weather and a little drizzle The first day,the conditions were actually surprisingly good. We skied three days in mid to late December and stayed at the soaring Eagle resort, 404. The place was great, the view was excellent. Hot tubs were warm and generally underutilized by the rest Of the guests. The unit itself was excellent. Kitchen had all the latest amenities though be sure to bring any spices or condiments that you want to use. Beds were super comfortable. Parking was very convenient, lockers downstairs made the ski in and ski out super easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Would have liked to know that restaurant was closed during week and that the Soaring Eagle lift was going to be down our entire stay. Lift went down Thursday and we booked Friday afternoon with no notification.

Beautiful views, poorly maintained property
Our family came for a week in early December. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking from the balcony overlooking the mountains. Building maintenance was quite a bit behind. All three hot tubs were closed and there was a lot of debris in the water as if they had not been kept up in awhile. Exterior siding boards were loose and missing in some places on the outside of the building, and one siding board literally flew off our unit and broke a window at a lower unit during our stay. Also there is some drywall damage inside the condo and the air filters were packed full of dust. We were there to ski/snowboard so we weren't super bothered by these issues other than the neglected air filters and the lack of hot tubs which was advertised as included and was a big part of why we chose this place over other options on the mountain. The view from the hot tub area is amazing and they look like they would be very nice if maintained. Check-in is at the base of the mountain later in the afternoon. Be sure to bring your own dishwasher detergent as only a few pods are provided. The on-site restaurant was not open at all -- be sure to check ahead if you're planning to use it during your stay.
We wanted a little get away with 3 grandsons--one that was safe for them since they can't be vaccinated yet. This Condo was the nicest one we have ever rented! The furnishings were lovely; the art work was lovely; the kitchen was nicely appointed; the beds and linens were very nice; the views of the mountains were spectacular; the extras like TP, dish detergent, laundry detergent, a package of coffee and filters, and bath towels were very much appreciated! Truly a lovely and well maintained condo,and it was super clean--making us feel extra safe during this time of covid. There seemed to be very few guests staying in the Lodge as it was summer and "off" season, so it was completely quiet. We would definitely love to return! And we thank the owners for allowing us to share their home away from home!
