THE UNIT: Welcome home to Silver Creek unit 2209, your home away from home and a charming place to spend your next Snowshoe Mountain vacation getaway! This studio is on the second floor, sleeps six people, and is in Silver Creek Lodge, home of the legendary night skiing, 3 of the best terrain parks, and the Coca-Cola Tube Park. When you stay in Silver Creek, you’ll enjoy shorter lift lines, later mid-week rope drops, and a complimentary shuttle to and from the main mountain! Silver Creek 2209 features a kitchen that is fully stocked with all the basics you'll need to prepare, cook, and serve a delicious meal. Within the cozy space, you’ll find plateware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, range, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and toaster. There is a kitchen island, with seating for four people, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a delicious meal. Or, if you’re tired of preparing your own meals, consider a short stroll to the various dining options right in the building: 1) the Locker Room, where you can eat, drink, watch sports, play games, and enjoy live music during certain nights and 2) the Bear’s Den, featuring lunch and dinner options that include wood-fired oven pizzas, burgers, and more. Please note the Bear’s Den is only open during the ski season and the Locker Room has limited open hours during the summer season. Wake up refreshed each morning in the queen bed which features ample storage underneath, or enjoy the full IKEA sectional sofa where you can cozy up next to the electric fireplace during cold nights. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy. ● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. It was a ski out to the smaller Silver Creek lifts, which had night skiing, so we always ended our long day of skiing able to walk in to bed. It was an easy shuttle ride over to the village/main lifts. We traveled with 5 in our family, with all 3 kids between the ages of 15-21\. We knew if would be a tight fit, as it's a smaller condo, but we were really only there to sleep, and this condo makes excellent use of space. We had lots of fun family togetherness. The place wasn’t clean. We would have left if we had somewhere else to go. There was a slice of sandwich cheese made up in the bed. Along with a hair scrunchy that had hair entangled in it. The room was small (clearly described in the description) but not too small for the 3 of us. My daughter absolutely loved the bunks (she used both). The LED lights and iPad holder were a hit. My favorite feature was the amazing water pressure and hot water in the shower following a long day of skiing! The studio contained everything we needed to prepare our meals and had plenty of linens.
