First floor, renovated unit with full kitchen and sliding door straight out to a great view of the slopes. Just steps from the Ballhooter Lift and the Waffle Cabin. Watch the rope drop from the window, or pop out and join the action. The master bedroom has a queen bed, with a queen pullout bed in the living room. Don't ski or bike? Cozy up in the warm condo and watch people ski by or maybe catch view of the occasional "yard sale" at the lift. Hungry? Grab one of Snowshoe's famous waffles - you’re close enough to smell them cooking from your window - or pop into one of the Village's many restaurants for a bite. Alternatively, stay home and cook in the well-stocked kitchen with full-size appliances (the new stove has convection baking and built-in air fryer). Want to swim or enjoy a hot tub after a day on the mountain? Enjoy a soak or swim in the heated indoor-outdoor Split Rock Pools next door and open to guests for a fee. Mountain Lodge #140 has been renovated in 2022 and is lovely. It features free WIFI, brand new 55" smart TVs in both the living room and the bedroom for all your streaming needs, free cable, new appliances, new linens, and all new paint and decor. The place is exactly as described. Great view of the slopes and is directly in front of one of the lifts. I’m told soon the patio gate will open to actually ski in/out. We had a slight issue with housekeeping when we arrived, however, Monica jumped on it right away. She communicated immediately with the front desk and even refunded our cleaning fee. The bunk beds made the space a little awkward to watch TV, however, we have 2 college age kids who came with us and they were grateful for the bunk beds instead of having to share an uncomfortable pull out couch bed. We love the newly renovated decor of the place and the location is perfect. We will definitely stay again next time we come to Snowshoe. ##### Pey G. It was well equipped with things we needed for the short stay. It was decorated very nice and true to photos. The heat needed some instructions. We turned it off at night because there were no real instructions and was really hot inside the condo at night. There were no instructions for heat other than to not turn above or below certain degrees. Condo is in a great area! Updated, clean, and location location location! BUT, just know, these are tight spaces- which was just fine for our family of two kids under 10- but definitely could be borderline uncomfortable for a second couple or older children as the second sleeping arrangement is literally in the living room with no drawers/closets for things. It was totally an adventure for us though! The kids took the bunk beds, leaving the couch for us all to sit on, their bags remained packed and stored under the bunk beds every day, many kitchen items ended up in the fridge since there was very little counter space and no pantry, and we spent our days on the slopes anyways! Not a true “ski in ski out” but seriously, you walk like 50’ and you’re there, so still was amazing!
