"Seas the Day was the perfect VRBO for my vacation at Carolina Beach. The size was great for one person! The unit had everything I needed for my stay from towels to cooking spray! I cooked breakfast and dinner each day and packed a lunch to stay all day at the beach. The unit is beautiful in blue accents and having the sitting area in the bedroom made it easy to drink coffee while watching TV rather than sitting on the bed. The bathroom was gorgeous, better than I have at home. It’s just like a high end hotel bathroom but better with a window in the shower. I had my own outdoor shower which allowed me to rinse all the sand off me and my stuff in the effort to track minimal sand inside. The unit had its own thermostat which allowed me to have better night sleep than at home. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I was pleased I forgot to bring my own pillow.Just a few things I noticed. I grew up going to the Jersey Shore, staying in rental houses. The houses typically came with beach chairs, maybe a boogie board or two and beach tags (beaches are not free in Jersey). Seas the day would have been even better if it came with a season parking pass since parking in Carolina Beach is 25 dollars a day. I didn’t need a beach chair, so I was not concerned about beach chairs. Lastly, one small problem with the bathroom, it didn’t have the right electrical outlet for a blow drier, just in the kitchen.The owners unexpectedly refunded me the pet fee after leaving me dog at home."

"We had a balcony floor 5 room facing the ocean. It was a well-designed room for the beach. The balcony was a delightful place to sit, but the air temperature during our stay was in the 90s and hot air from the room was being exhausted into the area of the balcony. We also had the temperature of the room set at 78 and the door to the balcony closed, but during the night water condensation made the floor and other surfaces very wet and slippery, necessitating a call for an attendant to mop the water up. Aside from these problems, we were delighted with our stay and the service was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a breakfast and dinner at the Ocean Grill restaurant associated with the hotel."

"Great location, can see the boardwalk from room, close walk to all the restaurants and to beach also. Bed was a little to firm and shower a little small but location makes up for any draw backs, I would stay there again"

"We had a family vacation and had 5 rooms. They were all very clean, nice rooms. The views are wonderful from the balconies. We had a corner room on the 6th floor, and we will absolutely be asking for that room again. The lady who cleaned our room was fantastic. We had several children with us, and they tracked some sand in from the beach. She was very kind and cheerful, and cleaned everything up super well. I fully recommend this hotel to anyone traveling or staying in the area."

"Finding accommodations with 7 bedrooms was a tough ask. My family had a great time. You can't put a price tag on quality family time. My issues are with the host. To say that communication was lacking would be a drastic understatement. We did not receive a physical address for the property until the morning of our arrival. That caused coordination issues with members traveling from different areas. Upon arrival, there were 3 units at the address, A, B & C. Nothing in the confirmation email specified which unit was ours. Today is Monday and I still have received a response to my text to the host from this past Friday. We finally gained entry by trying the access code on every unit. There were exactly 2 towels and wash cloths per bedroom. No spares anywhere on the property. The primary reason for booking a beach location is the BEACH. If there had been any mention of the need to bring additional towels, we have done so. Every other beach rental we've ever had included spare towels and linen. The showers had minimal water pressure that was luke warm at best. Finally, the elevator. The fact the there is a notice on the elevator door saying "use at your own risk" indicates that there have been problems before that were never thoroughly resolved. The seniors in our group needed the elevator to work as it was designed. Instead on 4 different occasions the doors wouldn't open with passengers inside."

"The host and the property were excellent.Communication was excellent.The proximity to the waters on either side of the property, the view was so beautiful and we were very close to everything.And it is definitely dog friendly.We'll definitely be standing there again."
