"All in all, this was a good hotel for the price. The rooms are decent sized, the beds were cozy, everything was clean, and the coffee machine in the lobby was convenient. My only complaint is the breakfast service offered is lackluster. There's a waffle maker, cereal, oatmeal, some breads, yogurt, and a limited amount of hardboiled eggs. Not bad, but not great either."

"This was a truly lovely setting and a completely functional home. We had a wonderful vacation. The “mid-century” description is accurate in that the age of this house is apparent. However, the expected updates are all there and everything is operational. The kayaks and paddle boards were great! The dock was terrific. We didn’t use the hot tub because it didn’t appear to be adequately maintained.A couple negatives: the coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned and was over full of old coffee grounds in the filter basket, the correct coffee filters were not provided (it requires #4 cone filters but only flat basket filters were there), the cordless vacuum mount/charger was pulled out of the wall upon our arrival. Probably the host had not been made aware of this. Also, there was a slow drip from the kitchen faucet handle. I wanted to fix these things but there were no tools in the house .Still, overall, this definitely deserves a 5 star rating!"

"We really enjoyed our time in Carnation. The home was really cute and had a ton of thoughtful accents/details. I've never seen a better stocked kitchen at a rental - it had everything you'd need to cook. My toddler loved the pool table and all the children books. I loved that there was a bed with a railing. Definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice getaway in Washington."
