The location is a blessing and a curse. You are right on First Street, which is great if you want to spend your time walking. However, the largest negative is the parking. First Street is always challenging to find parking on. The apartment rental has many good qualities. The furniture, bedding, towels, appliances, and dishes are all brand new and top quality. The small kitchen has a good set of pots and pans and you would have no problem cooking. The negatives about the rental are the weird bathroom set up, hazardous bathtub/shower, lack of decent heating, and security. The place has two rooms separated by the hall that house the tub and toilet separately. The tub is set up with a shower head, but it is a claw foot tub so the whole process of showering can be dangerous due to how round the bottom of the tub is and having to step over the side of the tub with nothing to hold onto. I can't imagine anyone with issues walking managing the tub. Regarding security, the doorknob is not a functioning doorknob. The only component of the door that latches is the deadbolt lock. You will have to lock and unlock the door for securing any of it. You also have the business entrance to access the rental. It has to be locked if leaving after working hours. This is impossible bcz it's a swinging door! The latch doesn't line up!Finally, if it doesn't say it on the description, it doesn't have it. Things most places normally have, it doesn't. We were comfortable but inconvenienced
