"It is such a quaint, warm and lovely space. I felt like I'd escaped all the noise, hustle and bustle, and bright lights of the city and stepped into a fairytale, country retreat. I loved all of the attention to detail in the vintage decor, the amazing balcony view with all of the fall leaves mid color change... and the owner was a complete joy to work with. Excellent communication and so accommodating with my requests. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting a mini escape or a weekend away. Wonderful getaway for an anniversary! Thank you so much!!!"

"This place is great! Clean and equipped for a nice weekend. We did have an issue with the heat, but the hosts were very quick to respond and fix it, even offering spaces heaters in the interim. Would definitely recommend staying here!"

"We came to Minnesota to visit family. I have always loved being on the water, so we decided to get a place through VRBO. This place is awesome! The owners were cordial and easy to connect with. The house was clean, decorated just the way it should and well kept. We even had a singing shower! The outside was beautiful! I cannot not saw enough. I can’t wait to come back again!"

"Overall, the property was good and the rooms were clean. However, the garbage disposal was not working and some of the mattresses were not very comfortable. We were unable to get the fireplace working as there were no clear instructions."

"The host was super friendly and helpful. The spa house which you share with all the guests does have a decent gym and the spa works great but there is no couch. The floor has multiple sink holes. Old Blue is very quaint however the bed was definitely not a true queen size as my 6‘4 husband didn’t fit. The forest surrounding the house is absolutely gorgeous and it is a quiet place to get away and very close quarters so you have lots of opportunity to connect with your partner. Also it is only an hour and twenty minute drive to Minneapolis if you want to go and do something or go out to eat because the kitchen is cute but not the most practical for doing all your cooking. We had a very pleasant stay and breakfast was very generous."

"Everything was absolutely fantastic with the property.The only questionable thing that was the 2 minute shower rule seemed kind of extreme. We understood it was for water conservation and can appreciate not taking long showers, but to only do 2 minutest you have to use just hardly enough water to get wet to lather up, turn the shower off to scrub, then turn the water back on to try and rinse. It really made us wonder when he ssprinkler for the lawn started.Otherwise our stay was wonderful, and would highly recommend."
