Outside it was well kept, clean, conveniently close to I-95. The room was clean, the water was HOT (for a bath). Happy to have a frig & microwave. Comfortable beds. The food at the affiliated restaurant was delicious. The wait staff were splendid. Talked with the caring owner / chef twice. We will definitely stay again!!

Check in for motel at restaurant. Close to I-95. Single storey, no stairs, parking right by room door. Restaurant has good food & service. Room is comfortable, quiet & clean.

Very expensive for what it is, also very isolated. Only good thing... its right next to the highway. Same goes for restaurant. There much better for less. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

thank you for staying with us. We are the cheapest place to stay within 40 minutes and we are 20-40 a night cheaper than anyone within 20 minutes. Recently updated all our bathrooms with granite countertop vanities, replaced the furniture in the room, replaced all the front doors to the rooms and put updated brighter lighting on the front walk. If you happen to be reading this review, I would encourage you to read the other many positive reviews as well.

Go for the food not the motel.
We found the beds very soft, and very short not good for tall people at all. Handicapped access to the bathroom would be limited by the very narrow doorway. Hot water in the shower was interrupted by cool water 6 times between 9 and 9:15am Sunday. The air conditioner cycles off every 10 to 15 minutes and won't maintain the High setting when it resumes, it won't cool the room just take the humidity down. Fridge and microwave are present but no coffee maker. With the limited choices in the area we'll stay elsewhere next trip. Their Restaurant is highly recommended.

Thank you for staying with us. A couple of thoughts on your review. The beds are standard size that most everyone would have in there home, so you are correct, most very tall people choose to purchase larger mattresses. Our bathrooms are not handicapped accessible, and are not advertised as such. As for the water, not sure why that happened, I will have our plumber address this this week. The AC in all our rooms will cool the room down colder that most people would like it. There is a good chance a prior customer changed a setting and it was not on cool. If you choose to stay with us again, please let me know of these issues while you are here so that I can help make your stay better. While we may not have some of the amenities of other motels, we do keep our rates 20 - 40 less a night than other local motels. Thank you for your comment on the Restaurant! :)

The room was very clean, and quiet. Check in was a little off the beaten path, you have to check in by calling or through the restaurant. I was able to check in a little earlier than normal which was convenient. My only complaint really was the hot water in #5. You were not able to regulate temperature and it was scalding hot!!! In order to make it tolerable the water pressure was trickling out of the shower head. They really should do something about that before it burns a customer

Broken tv and tv remote and the stand that you put your clothes in. Excellent restaurant and food- clean but broken equipment. We paid for two queen beds and they were doubles not even quite fulls Great area was there for my nephews graduation

Thank you for staying with us. Sorry for your troubles while you were here. If I had known about the TV during your stay I could have fixed that for you. As for the stand, a prior customer broke it and it has since been fixed. We do not advertise queen beds, so I am not sure what you thought you were paying for.

This motel is just basic. Noted on our reservation was to check in at the restaurant and it is closed on Mondays…a reason I booked there. A carpenter working there had to call the owner because he had no idea. We would have left otherwise as no one else was around. The room is bare bones and dated.

Thank you for staying with us. I am sorry for the inconvenience of the restaurant being closed on Monday, we have been short staffed and are making some adjustments. The Carpenter is employed by me, the owner, and contacted me ASAP, and I was there immediately, because I was on site to check you in. There is also a sign on the door with my number on it to contact for checkin. As for the room being basic. It is just as described on our website with pictures. So that should have been what you expected.

Clean, no-frills stay
Very clean, no frills, basic accommodations with very convenient location. You check in through the restaurant, so check their hours if you are going to arrive at a time the restaurant is closed. You'll need to call the manager for check in (posted outside the restaurant). Worked out fine, just would have been inconvenient if it was the middle of the night.

Very easy to get to, right off the highway. Room was super clean and comfortable, very cozy. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We had a late check in and called to let them know, you must call to arrange. Had a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Check was fast and easy. The only negative I would add is that when the trucks come through you hear them. Not a negative to the hotel, they can’t control that. It would be something that any hotel close to highway or major road has to deal with. I would absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The place was clean, the restaurant had wonderful baked goods and food. It was a nice little place to stay my only downfall is a water pressure because of the age of the building when other people use it you don’t have not a lot of water pressure. But you do have hot water and the place is nice. I would stay there again

We needed a place on our road trip for just one night. Location was very convenient. Room was comfortable, warm, and we had plenty of room. Shower was nice and hot. Shampoo and soaps were nice. Towels worked well. Beds were comfy. Fridge and microwave were clean and worked well. Owners were very accommodating to our late checkin and early check out.
