HOWEVER, the cleaning is terrible as the smell of humidity in the hotel and the room we rented was severe. We entered on Friday night and we left on Sunday morning coughing and feeling awful. At night, already home, we were sick with a bacterial upper respiratory infection. I had fever and chills that Sunday and I couldn’t go to work on Monday. I’m still sick. I’m taking antibiotics and I hope to get better this week. After this experience, I realized that the dirtiness could have been the reason we got sick. We only went to the hotel to sleep. I strongly suggest the staff in the hotel to make a deep cleaning to the carpets. So that people do not get sick as it happened to me. In the meantime, my husband and I decided to download the vrbn application and not to use hotels when traveling. "
