I loved Hotel Jewel and the restaurant and the staff were fab. I only gave it a 4 as there is no elevator and I was on the 3rd floor and the luggage elevator only worked till 2nd floor - so it was quite the hike up and down. Ask for a room lower down if you don't like stairs. Still would recommend.

Clean and conveniently located. The only drawback, no lift. The circular stairs were a bit much.

"This hotel is a 10 minute ride to downtown and the train station. The rooms are great, however there is no air conditioning, which was miserable in the heat of summer. Even if you cool the room down at night by opening doors, for some reason the room heats up again. It was 28.5 degrees Celsius in ..."

"Dated rooms, No Air Conditioning but the main issue is the restaurant on the premises is only open for breakfast and lunch. Both the bar and restaurant in the hotel closes at 15:00 each day.
