Black Bear Lodge Motel

Black Bear Lodge Motel

8/10 Good
"Room had the basics: clean room and sheets, adequate towels, hairdryer, offered shampoo but not conditioner, minifridge with good small freezer component, wifi/TV worked well. No staff onsite but did not need them (staff at realty comapany at local store). Basics, clean, heat/AC work well without being noisy. Area= small settlement in mountains but has good BBQ restaurant. Would return again but bring food for lunch breakfast."

"Becky let us know the cabin was ready early, but we arrived around 9pm. Cute, clean, and had all the essentials, along with coffee makings, condiments, and bath care.We texted them on Saturday evening about a wasp nest above the hot tub and seating in the back deck. They had it taken care of within 30 minutes so we could enjoy our evening. Thanks y’all for a perfect stay."

"The property was perfect for our needs (wedding party with multiple rooms needed). The cabins were smaller than I envisioned based on the pictures but the property is designed for folks to hang outside around the fire pit and grill, etc. So, it worked for us. Becky was very responsive to the only issue we encountered (wasps), which were definitely out of their control. Overall, things were GREAT and I would recommend for others to stay! It was 10-15 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park and close to many other area attractions. We had a great visit!"
