We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and exploring the area over a holiday weekend. You can hear the river in the distance and the neighbors were very quiet, so it felt very private despite a couple other vacation rentals in the same area. My only note for future visitors - that spiral staircase is steeper than it looks! Our 3 year old navigated it fine with someone spotting him but it might be tough for a younger kid without assistance. They very thoughtfully have a gate installed at the top to keep everyone contained at night so we weren’t worried. So cozy, really fit the mood for a winter adventure in the mountains! Well stocked and equipped with everything you’ll need to cook meals and enjoy the atmosphere.
