"Let me begin with the hot tub. It was fantastic, modern digital operations. Service arrived second day of occupancy, refreshed and rebalanced chemical content. Professional cordial young man, very familiar with hot tub operations. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty cooking and eating utensils, very clean on arrival. The outside griddle a pleasant addition found it very useful. All rooms and entire facility very clean. Bathrooms well equipped with an abundance of newer towels. Loved the washing machines. All and all it was one of the best rentals we used at Boyne Mountain."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This amazing house at the top of Boyne Mountain exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had outstanding amenities. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for relaxing after a day of activities, and the huge bunk room was a hit with our family. During a severe thunderstorm one night, everyone ended up sleeping together in the bunk room, and it became one of our favorite memories of the trip.The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. We also loved the screened-in back porch, which was perfect for relaxing in the evenings without the bugs. We used the grill several times, and having an attached garage was a great bonus.The location was fantastic. Every day we walked the five minutes to the top of Boyne Mountain to enjoy the SkyBridge, and we made several trips to Deer Lake. I can only imagine how incredible this house is during ski season as a true ski-in, ski-out property.Our only complaint was the Nest thermostat. We happened to visit during one of the hottest weeks of the summer, and the thermostat kept reverting to Eco mode. We’d lower the temperature, only to have it reset a couple of hours later. Since there isn’t a separate HVAC zone for the upstairs, it took hours to cool those bedrooms, and several guests woke up sweating the first two nights.To their credit, Northern Michigan Vacations was outstanding. I texted them several times with questions, and they always responded within minutes. They contacted the owner, who made adjustments that helped, but the thermostat still changed temperatures on its own, especially overnight.My one recommendation is to replace the Nest thermostat with a standard programmable thermostat that guests can control. Aside from that, this home was outstanding. We had a wonderful family vacation, would definitely recommend it to others, and would gladly stay here again if that issue is resolved."

"Very seamless booking, easy communication when questions arose. Nicely equipped wtih everything we needed, including some disposable silverware, plenty of paper towels and bathroom supplies, coffee selections, dishes, spices, and more. The one downside was that on the surface, the house was clean, but we noticed quite a bit of dust, crumbs underneath furniture, a few dirty towels, and some dirty cookware."
