Stayed at Astera for three days and it was absolutely perfect. Super clean new-looking spacious rooms. Tons of towels and amenities and I had a gorgeous balcony. All that for 60 euro a night is crazy. My flight back from Skopje got cancelled so they also generously offered me two more night last second with the same rate so they saved my life there! I tried the breakfast once too a lot of variety and fruits and eggs. Highly recommend!!

Room size ok, clean enough but floors dirty. Plates, cups and cutlery provided, no bowls. Nothing to cook with in the apartment. So the kitchen area is pointless. Staff were helpful and polite. Big shopping centre 200 metres away. About a km to the tourist centre and shops

Lovely staff and easy to walk into the old town from there. I slept well. But I felt the apartment was in need of a real deep clean. The bed itself was clean with fresh linen but everything around it wasnt the cleanest - furniture is stained, outside of the fridge is dirty, remnants of other people’s hair in the bathroom, bits of rubbish left in the bin, etc. The window didn’t close properly so it was a little chilly throughout the night. Also with an apartment I would have expected things like a microwave, bowls, teaspoons - but there wasn’t.

Great location close to the bus station and a short 20 minute walk along the river to main square. Nice clean room and staff were great. A shopping centre with a supermarket across the road was a bonus.

Area around hotel wasn’t the most welcoming but never felt unsafe. The room was perfect, very clean and modern. Only a few minute walk to central square and old bazaar. I would come back.

I stayed here twice in April and found it excellent. The room was comfortable, the staff were pleasant and the location was perfect. It's a few minutes' walk from the inter-city bus station, the municipal bus station and the airport bus. Almost across the street from the hotel is a large supermarket in a mall with other shops. A few minutes' walk past there takes you to the Vardar River. Turn left (northwest) and Skopje's main sites are within easy walking distance. This was a very good place to stay.

Excellent location for access to Bus station and supermarket. For late fight arrival ( midnight) they arranged shuttle service ( extra cost) and very late checkin. Not offered by many other accomodation properties.

We actually didn’t get to stay at the Astera Apart Hotel due to a technical issue but the Manager met us at the Hotel and made quick arrangements for us to stay at a one bedroom apartment at the Urban Hostel and Apartments nearby. The Manager at that establishment met us at the Astera Apart Hotel reception and helped carry our luggage down the street and got us settled in. All cost were covered and we had a wonderful time. The Manager even messaged us letting us know that the next time we are visiting we have a free room available. The way in which these two Managers handled the situation is a true testament of the people of Skopje and North Macedonia.

The room really looks like the nice, professional photos. Very nice room, with a little balcony (with a screen door and a glass door). Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Key card to get in and out of the building. Very close to the train and bus terminal and a mall that includes a grocery store. Easy walk to the center of town and the old town.
